Are we on the verge of an American technological golden age, or are we about to hit the brakes? The Trump administration is pushing for an AI-driven era of abundance and innovation, but progressive politicians are pushing to heavily regulate or completely ban advanced AI development.
Stalling our tech progress could easily allow global competitors like China to pull ahead in the AI race. Could proposed data center moratoriums and superintelligence bans cost the U.S. its critical geopolitical edge?

In 2018, 86 socialist candidates ran at the local, state, and federal levels, with about 40 percent winning. Two years later, in the 2020 general election, 266 socialist candidates ran, and nearly 90 percent won.

@HeartlandInst's Chris Talgo has a bead on not the "rise" of the DSA but, more accurately, its takeover over the Democrat Party. The DSA Neo-Bolsheviks are doing the same long march through the party they used as a host as they did, under color of that party, through America's mediating institutions. Antonio Gramsci would be impressed.

The American Dream is on life support.
To qualify for a typical home today, you need an income of nearly $120,000. But the median income is only around $85,000. That $35,000 gap is why a generation is locked out of homeownership.

In 2021, a 30-year mortgage cost around 3%. Today it's nearly 7%. Combine that with runaway home prices and a stagnant housing supply, and you get a generation priced out of homeownership.

Young Americans are locked out of homeownership, and it's not because they're lazy or entitled. The math is broken.
We stopped building. Home construction cratered after 2008 and never came back.
