Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will be the first Black woman to serve on the US Supreme Court after receiving enough vote in the Senate on Thursday to secure her confirmation.

Thinking back to my time at the paper, I knew what we had was special. All of us on staff did. We loved what we did, the impact we made and the lifelong friendships we formed. But still, the recognition is a little overwhelming.

"The past year brought on so many challenges for us as a staff, and we were doing so much to just get through and get to the next press night, but there were times where it felt like what we were doing was magical and special," said @EmmaSatin, '21, Spring 2021 EIC.
Feeling remarkably honored to share that @LUBrownWhite has been awarded second place nationally by @collegemedia as “Best College Media Outlet of the Year,” for the 2020-2021 academic year. Sappy thread to follow, but for a school of our size and stature, this is remarkable.
The @collegemedia has awarded the @LUBrownWhite second place nationally in its 2020-21 "Best College Media Outlet of the Year" category in its annual Pinnacle Awards. I am so proud of our hardworking staff comprised of @LehighU from all disciplines.
And lastly to @MattVeto whose leadership and genuine love for this paper and our team allowed us to push forward, no matter the obstacle. Matt always told us with complete sincerity that he believed this paper was best in class. (It would appear he was right)
