Over £850 of food was wasted after fake orders were charged to my account & delivered to my old address by @Deliveroo yesterday. After notifying @DeliverooHelp of fraudulent activity within mins from the payments taking place, I'm disappointed to discover zero processes in place.
Poor processes resulted in numerous calls from drivers attempting to deliver hundreds of pounds worth of food to a residential address. @DeliverooHelp were unable to assist when I called the 2nd time claiming to have no record of my account despite sharing contact & payment info.
I'm not one to 'angry tweet' but it feels necessary after @AskAmexUK were so quick to resolve the charges on my card. It's a shame @DeliverooHelp were unable to live up to expectations. 👎
