🚨 A FAN HELPED KIM WOO-BIN LAND A LUXURY PERFUME AD, AND HE DIDN’T FORGET HER. THE WAY HE PAID HER BACK IS SO WHOLESOME.
Last year, during a fan signing event, a fan asked Kim Woo-bin to recommend a perfume that would suit her.
Instead of simply recommending one, he took out the perfume he was personally using and gave it to her as a gift. 🥹
The fan later shared a video of the interaction, and it caught people’s attention online. The fragrance became known as “Kim Woo-bin’s perfume,” and the buzz helped bring him to the attention of Acqua di Parma, the Italian luxury fragrance brand.
He was eventually selected as the brand’s ambassador and filmed an advertisement.
But here's the sweetest part. ❤️
When Kim Woo-bin met the same fan again, he told her, “Thanks to you, I got to shoot an ad, so I wanted to give you something.”
He then went to his car and brought out a huge shopping bag filled with Acqua di Parma products that he had purchased with his OWN MONEY!
He revealed that he had been carrying the gifts around in his car, waiting for the chance to see her again. 😭
And because he worried she might feel awkward being the only person receiving a gift, he had also bought presents for the other fans who were there.
He even made sure to clarify that the gifts weren't sponsored. He had bought them himself.
Imagine helping your favourite actor land a luxury brand deal simply because he gave you his perfume, only for him to remember you months later and personally thank you with gifts from the very brand you helped introduce him to.
Kim Woo-bin could have simply enjoyed his new endorsement deal and moved on, but he remembered the fan who helped make that opportunity possible.
The perfume led to an advertisement, the advertisement led to a new memory, and the actor made sure the person at the beginning of that story got to share in the happiness. 🥹❤️
This is the kind of celebrity-fan interaction that makes people fall even harder for their favourite stars.

"Things have been happening. Very odd things. That television in there goes on late at night and wakes me up. Just goes on all by itself. That radio I kept in the bedroom, that went on and off too — just when I was going to sleep."

Patrick Stewart was once filmed dancing and singing on the bridge of the USS Enterprise-D in 1991 as a birthday surprise for Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. Though never intended for public release, a copy of the clip eventually surfaced as a bonus feature on a DVD.
Rest in peace 🙏
