What is happening to so many COVID-conscious people has a name: social exclusion.

This is not an accident. Our society uses exclusion—excommunication, exile, ostracism—as a penalty for non-conformity. It is a tool to enforce the status quo.
The pain you feel is real. It's called an exclusion injury, and it registers in the brain similarly to physical pain. Your body is telling you a truth: that connection is being severed as a punishment.

I scored 2 points for food prep, 2 for washing/bathing, 2 for managing toilet needs, & 2 for dressing/undressing.
These scores are already under-representing my actual needs...

Also, I hate that this is where we are at right now - begging to be seen/heard in order to KEEP the support we currently have, when that support is actually already not enough for a large number of people who have managed to 'prove' they need it.
