Trying an agent on Telegram for one evening
Last night I opened the Telegram mini-app of @agenticscredit just to mess around, not expecting much. The first thing I noticed was the feeling that “it’s still mine.”
Every agent I create gets its own on-chain account. I can tweak the strategy, pick markets, and drag the leverage ceiling up or down right inside the chat. Even if I later get credit from them, the money still comes from their wallet, but the decisions about what the agent does, what it trades, and whether it’s aggressive or patient still sit with me. It doesn’t feel like I’m borrowing someone else’s agent.
Managing everything in Telegram turned out more convenient than I expected. Checking ACS, watching open positions, getting notified when something gets cut or hits a cooldown, adjusting sliders… I barely needed to jump out to the web. I let two agents run at the same time (one trend-following, one mean-reversion) and just watched how the system handled them.
What stood out was that when the holistic score of the whole account got dragged down, it wasn’t only the losing agent that got affected. Both got tightened. The engine doesn’t pop up a warning and wait for me to click; it automatically reduces the size of new orders, force-closes positions when thresholds are hit, and arms the trailing stop once take-profit is reached. It was pretty clear the system is enforcing discipline at the level of the entire agent portfolio, not just individual ones.
The vault side follows the same logic: capital stays in the vault, never moves into an agent’s wallet, only deploys to whitelisted venues, and the ceilings tighten based on the score. I haven’t used the vault yet, just read about it and compared it with what I was running on paper, but the logic feels consistent.
Overall, after one evening of using it, it doesn’t feel like the usual “just push the score to 580 and you’re done.” It’s forcing me to manage a cluster of agents as a portfolio, and Telegram makes that less annoying than I thought.
