Who owns Nigeria's oil, and who gets the money?
It's not "oil companies take it all" or "government gets it all." It depends on contracts, royalties and taxes.
The real issue may not be how it's shared, but how it's spent.

so some details may have shifted.

A little correction : The NNPC’s subsidiary (NEPL) entered into a Financial and Technical Services Agreement (FTSA) for OML 11 with Sahara Energy through WAGL Energy Limited. WAGL is a joint venture between NNPC Limited and Ocean Bed Limited (an affiliate of Sahara Energy).
The Egina FPSO wasn’t just a $16 billion offshore project. It became a defining moment for Nigerian local content, helping build skills, infrastructure, and confidence in our ability to execute world-class projects.
