Hello, I’m reaching out to ask for your help in raising ₹15,000 for my rent, electricity bill, food, and daily commute. My parents have stopped supporting me financially after learning that I’m gay.

Remember when Ronaldo was given special exemption to live in with his girlfriend despite strict Saudi laws? There was no lecture about Islam or haram from the law abiding extremists. You are not right or wrong. You are either poor & powerless or rich & influential.

We don’t gaf if they kissed or fucked or were married or cheating on their spouses. Beheading two young people for any of the above is barbaric.
THIS IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED ABOUT THE EXECUTION IN SAUDI.
False claims are circulating on social media that the two people executed in Mecca were husband and wife, had an eight-year-old daughter, and were Hajj pilgrims. These claims are described as rumours.
So, what is the reported truth?
On October 14, 2026, two Bangladeshi nationals, Nazrul Islam Abdul Basir and Siti Akhtar, were reportedly executed in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. According to the account, they were not married to each other.
Bangladeshi media reports that Nazrul travelled to Saudi Arabia in 2022 to work as a cleaner, while Siti was also working there.
In May 2023, approximately one month before Hajj, the two were allegedly caught by Saudi security forces engaging in immoral acts inside a mosque in Mecca.
They reportedly spent more than three years in detention before being tried in a Jeddah court. After being found guilty, they were executed in Mecca on October 14, 2026, reportedly following a royal order. Their bodies were sent to Bangladesh on October 18.
Why was the punishment so severe?
Mosques hold a special place in Islam, and the sanctity of mosques in Mecca is particularly significant because of their connection to our sacred religious heritage.
Saudi Arabia strictly regulates public conduct, and acts considered serious sexual misconduct inside a mosque may attract severe legal consequences. The account states that the Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed that the charges against the two individuals involved “fi’al al-fahisha”—a term referring to an obscene or seriously immoral act.
Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shama Obaid Islam, reportedly confirmed the details on October 17.
The issue is not their nationality; it is the sanctity of Allah’s house.
A mosque is a place of worship, prayer, and remembrance of Allah—not a place for immoral behaviour.
Let us respect the sacredness of our places of worship and stop spreading unverified claims. Know the facts before sharing rumours.

lately, life has become way too political. maybe i’m slowly turning into an extremist of my own ideology, which is definitely not recommended. but watching hatred get normalised, criminals get defended, blind faith replace critical thinking and people get punished for demanding accountability does something to you. trying to stay sane in a country where basic human decency has become a political stance.

I never understood what drives an adult middle class man to "defend" his favourite multi-billionaire or ultra-corrupt politician as if his life depended on it. Neither the rich nor the powerful give two shits about you. The guy that you are arguing with may become a good friend if you talk to him nicely. I think some people are born with a slave mindset, nothing else explains this

It’s not about being friends w ppl having different political opinions, that is still fine, but when a friend supports police brutality, unlawful arrests and goons beating up protestors, you realise where they stand and it’s better to disassociate

#India: We are concerned by reports of mass detentions of demonstrators, protest leaders, members of civil society organisations, lawyers and journalists, before and during today’s large-scale demonstrations in Delhi.
We call on the authorities to ensure that the right to peaceful assembly is fully respected and fulfilled.

I always wondered how a country of 20-30 crore people was ruled by merely a few thousand Britishers. I'm seeing it now in real time: the descendants of those who favoured the British.
