Bubalus Resources (ASX: BUS) has signed to buy a copper project in western Tasmania, 10km from the Mt Lyell copper mine and its $490m restart.
Every hole at its Jukes prospect has hit copper, 13 from 13, and the rig turns in January. Brendan Borg on the deal.
Here’s what’s under the hill at $BUS Jukes. Copper from near surface to about 430m, open along strike and at depth. Best metre so far ran 6.28% copper and 12.2g/t gold, inside 13m at 1.18% copper.

12 years ago a drill hole at the Friday Gold Mine in Idaho stopped in 133g/t gold and nobody drilled under it.
Elk Range (ASX: ELK) just did. 11.3m at 21.4g/t starting where the old crew pulled out, and the gold ran another 170m

Exultant Mining (ASX: 10X) has gone back over a copper find two explorers walked away from in 1974.
The ground runs 2.4km through hills west of Sydney and has never had a drill hole in it.

The crew was still picking up copper and zinc at both ends of the 2.4 kilometres when the survey finished, and found a new patch of lead reading close to double the best 1970s number.
