Are you familiar with the unusual circumstances of the Fed’s origin? What about how power was consolidated in DC and away from Reserve Banks under FDR, and how the Fed’s mandate again altered in 1977? @BobMurphyEcon explains. mises.org/library/history-an…

Does anyone actually believe that “planning,” “organizing,” or “running” an economy would be any less complex in ways both seen and unseen than counting and reporting a few hundred or thousand votes would be? Read Pete Earle's latest piece: aier.site/373Ygwo. @L1KNB #Dems

No, the Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility (DMU) is not about (and has nothing to do with) satiety. In fact, if your want for something becomes fully sated (meaning you have no further use(s) for it), then that something is no longer scarce and it is thus not an economic good.

It doesn’t seem to occur to some of today’s young socialists that many older former socialists turned against it not because they “sold out” but because they realized they’d been sold a bill of goods. Knowing some history would help.

The most conspicuous problem with Trump's critics who correctly decry his authoritarian tendencies is that they want an even bigger and more powerful government ruling us all.
