Net approval of +17 and a 27 point lead for re-election. @iamwesmoore is out there crushing it.
It's amazing how quickly the storied Baltimore Sun has turned into a hack paper which apparently only exists to engage in partisan, bad-faith character assassination and right wing rants. Wes Moore served his country in uniform. That's deserving of respect, full stop.
Recently @GovWesMoore, Com @BrookeELierman, & Treasurer Davis voted to move forward our $14 million reno project at Albert Powell Fish Hatchery outside Hagerstown.
Anglers spend half a billion dollars a year in MD, and support 5k jobs - a key part of our outdoor rec economy.
The work @MarylandDNR and MD DGS are doing to expand and modernize our largest trout hatchery will help grow that economy for years to come.
Jumping in a freezing cold Chesapeake Bay in January for charity? Who could turn that down?
This year I'm joining my friends in the MD Park Service for the Polar Bear Plunge. Support the amazing athletes of Special Olympics MD & sponsor my plunge here: support.somd.org/fundraiser/…
If your resolution is to get outside more, check out the @MarylandDNR Miles for Maryland Challenge. Celebrate America's 250th by hiking 250 miles over the course of the year in our amazing State Parks. I'm signed up, hope to see you out on the trail!

There are plenty of dedicated, selfless public servants still out there, despite the mess that is our national politics.
That's why it's more important than ever to celebrate leaders like @SpeakerAJones.

All of this. Adrienne Jones has shown that you can do big things in government without chasing every TV camera or social media click.
We need more of that.

211 years ago, Maryland's iconic Casselman Bridge was built as a part of the National Road, America's first federally funded highway. Today, our team at @MarylandDNR and @MDSHA are restoring it so future generations can explore this piece of our heritage.

Investments by @GovWesMoore and @MarylandDNR at Elk Neck State Park recently renovated the trail and parking for the iconic Turkey Point Lighthouse. Great spot for a short hike, like the one Jeff Holland describes here.

Jake Weissman is one of the best, most dedicated, kindest people I know. I'm excited for him and for the State, you couldn't find a better person to run DBM in this moment.

When most people in MoCo think of State Parks in the county, they only think of Seneca Creek, which is an amazing place.
But we actually have two more, Patuxent River and Monocacy NRMA. And if you're looking to get off the beaten path, they're both worth a visit.

There's nothing more inspiring than to spend time with a bunch of smart, engaged college students who are interested in making a difference in the world. Thanks to Delegate @EmilyShetty for inviting me to hang out for a bit with her @UofMaryland Fellows students!
What better way to spend a Sunday than to get up at 5 AM and run 13.1 miles through gorgeous @MontgomeryParks with a few hundred of your neighbors. Congrats @MCRRC on a great race today!
Almost thirty years ago, Sierra Club leader Nancy Davis first taught a high school student who cared about the environment how to get a bill passed in Annapolis. It was me. It was such a blessing to be able to catch up with her at the @MDLCV Changemakers last night.
One of the best things I ever got to do was help create Freedman's State Historical Park, which preserves the land and legacy of George Enoch Howard. His story is a fundamentally American story that deserves to be told.

My friend @DelPamQueen has done a fantastic job in Annapolis for the people of District 14. Today she announced that she won't be running for another term, and I just want to say, as a former colleague and a constituent, thanks Pam for a job well done.

Ed Rothstein is a great guy and a stellar pick to lead the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families. You couldn't find a more humble, hard-working person to do the job.
Maryland's new secretary of veterans and military families: Ed Rothstein.
Rothstein is currently a (Republican) Carroll County commissioner and previously was garrison commander of Fort Meade. He's a retired Army colonel.
