From Kakabagyo to @HarvardHBS - and still counting.
Dear @Harvard team, and particularly the "Ascending the Peak: Finding the Leader Within" Program team, this is not just a certificate to me; it's a major door-opener for an ascending global leader.

Your season will make you restless.
When you constantly think about it, pray about it, when everything loses meaning but only that thing, then know for sure that these are the days. This is calling, this is your service, this is your ministry & this is your time.
This can be your fitness thirst, your dream business, the specific academic grades, that job, that marriage, etc)

Pursuant to Section 8(1) of the Public Financial Management (PFM) Act, @Makerere held its stakeholder consultative budget conference today, marking a key step in preparing the Budget Framework Paper (BFP) for FY 2027/2028 as required by @mofpedU.
The conference was officially opened by Professor @SsaliSarah, the Ag VC, who represented Hon. @BruceKabaasa, Chairperson of the Finance, Planning, Administration and Investment Committee (FPAIC) of the University Council. The forum provided an opportunity for technical budget teams to align future appropriations with the practical needs and realities of the university community.
We look forward to a BFP that reflects the realities of the people.

As @GovUganda actors put pen to paper on the priorities for FY 2027/2028, we must be deliberate in prioritizing and allocating resources to keep Ugandans healthy—with a particular emphasis on preventive interventions.
Evidence consistently shows that investing in active lifestyles enhances healthy living and significantly reduces vulnerability to poor health and non-communicable diseases.
We look forward to seeing clear priorities and budget allocations dedicated to:
• Physical activity spaces and the robust promotion of games and sports in schools.
• Public physical infrastructure that provides accessible spaces for community exercise.
• Grants and strategic support for actors actively promoting healthy living and active lifestyles.
• Nutrition and agricultural investments centered on organic food production.
• National social mobilization efforts to drive community health awareness.
A healthy people is the foundation of a healthy, productive nation.

In quest to popularise the University Policy against sexual harassment and the commitment to gender equality, Makerere University Gender Mainstreaming Directorate (@MakerereGMD) conducted a half-day policy dissemination workshop for Support Staff.
The mandate of the Directorate is derived from two main policies namely;
i) the Makerere University Gender Equality Policy 2009, which envisions Makerere University to become a gender-responsive University in which substantive gender equality is reality, and
ii) the Makerere University Policy & Regulations against Sexual Harassment of 2006, as amended in 2018 with a vision to coordinate, facilitate and monitor the integration of the gender dimension into the core functions of Makerere University including; Teaching and Learning, Research and Innovations, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, and Support Services.
Dr. Euzobia Mugisha Baine - Chief @MakerereGMD while opening the discussion highlighted the importance of the participants' contribution as stewards towards @Makerere's policy against sexual harassment and gender equality.
Prof. Henry Alinaitwe, our Deputy Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, today officially launched our project to refurbish and remodel the current Child Study Centre at @MakCEES into a model Day Care Facility at @Makerere.
This project is funded by Partnership for Change, Norway, and jointly implemented by @MakerereGMD and the Directorate of Estates and Works, with technical support from the @Mglsd_UG.
As the project lead, this truly warms my heart.
We look forward to inviting you all to the grand unveiling in January 2027!
