#DeloresMackenzie has always been able to see the ghostly overstayers that haunt the Old Town. But this Hallowe'en will she be strong enough to defeat those intent on destroying her?

Huge congratulations/llongyfarchiadau mawr to Nicola Davies, announced this week as Children’s Laureate Wales 2025–2027 🏴📚
With a career-spanning catalogue of books offering something for everyone, she’s such an inspiring person whose passion for nature and storytelling shines through everything she does. Her boundless, strong-willed devotion to the environment, libraries, young readers and more, as well as her resolve to speak up for them, make her the perfect choice. I was honoured to be on the selection panel for her appointment and I can’t wait to see what she brings to the role with all of her energy, voice and vision!
