Our 42nd President is on the latest episode of @qls and let me tell you how great this convo was… he even brought some vinyl with him to the studio! Thank you @questlove @laiyasworld and the whole Supreme Team 🖤
It was great to catch up with @questlove and Team Supreme on @QLS. Thanks for the chance to share some of my favorite records and discuss the importance of music in our lives. I had a blast and I hope you'll listen: podpage.com/questlove-suprem…
Before we close out the night, we're sending a little love to heaven for D'Angelo. One year without the man, but never a day without the music.
This special performance marked his return to television after 12 years away and would ultimately become his final performance on the BET Awards stage, which is a moment in our history we'll cherish forever. His voice, his artistry and the soul he poured into every note left an imprint on music that time could never erase.
Forever in our hearts. Forever in rotation. Rest in peace, D'Angelo.

Remembering the great D'Angelo, who passed away 1 year ago today.
A year on, and it still doesn’t feel real. The voice that made time stop is gone, but the feeling it left never left with it.
We miss you, D’Angelo…

Loving you just keeps getting better and better! Happy anniversary, @BarackObama. Here’s to many, many more years of joy, laughter, and memories to come. 💕

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

A sad loss for NY and Trinidad and Tobago with the passing of The Mighty Sparrow. He was a renowned Calypso singer and musician, entertaining crowds for decades. My office honored him in 2015 during Caribbean Heritage Month, and I was fortunate to have marched with him in the West Indian Day Parade as we celebrated his rich culture. My sympathies to his family.

Jalen: "Questions?"
OG: "Remember in Game 4 when you took that shot in the end and you missed it?"
Jalen: "Yeah"
OG: "Remember what happened after?"
Jalen: "Yeah. You tipped it in"
OG: "Oh yeah. That was awesome"
Happy 🌍💨🔥 Day!

The continued resilience of Lower Manhattan, and the growth in residents and businesses, serve as a model for NYC, highlighting the power of civic engagement, local investment and creative adaptation to the challenges that have faced the city and the nation since the 9/11 terror attacks.

None of us who lived through 9/11 will ever forget the lives lost or the countless stories of heroism from the day. But a third of today's Americans are too young to have any memory of it.
For them, the @Sept11Memorial is making a new digital learning experience available starting tomorrow.
A free 35-minute film will feature the personal stories of survivors, family members, and first responders. Viewing guides and pre-program activities will be available for grades 3 through 12.
We said we'd never forget—and part of that charge is making sure the next generation also remembers.Find the offerings at 911memorial.org/DLE.

In my decades of public service, I have rarely been as angry as I was the day the damning inspector general’s report was released about the EPA's response to the World Trade Center collapse.
One of the most important lessons from 9/11 is that our leaders need to level with people and then follow through with actual results.
