Because racist people will do anything to prove they’re not racist, there are hundreds of fully grown adults posting their takes on mermaid lore 😂.
Then maybe take a step back and think about that. You’re screaming about how the little mermaid isn’t black because of how close she is too the sun… did you ever care about mermaids until wee black girls had one to see themselves in?
I thought my biggest goal with starting to write fantasy would be “create believable characters.” Turns out it’s actually “do not get endorsed by putin.”

Watching and reading @flanaganfilm @RahulKohli13 @neilhimself @k8siegel @StephenKing this month made me start writing again. I have heartbroken, tortured, conflicted characters begging to be released.
I am actually sickened by how good @midnightmass is. The writing, acting and all aspects of production are incredible. How are ALL the monologues THAT amazing? Does everything @RahulKohli13 touches just turn to gold?
