Referral programs are great but I think their real value goes beyond the rewards.

are nigerians not human beings like everyone else? the constant disrespect, mockery, and discrimination against nigerians on this timeline is becoming ridiculous. some of you act as though being nigerian automatically makes someone less deserving of respect.
you can call out a person for their actions without dragging their nationality into it or using one person’s behavior to judge an entire country.
there are good and bad people everywhere. being a terrible person is a matter of character, not nationality.
nobody chooses where they are born, and no one should have to prove they deserve basic respect because of their passport.
disagree with people, criticize their actions, but stop treating an entire nationality like they’re beneath you. being nigerian doesn’t make anyone less human.

The most unsettling part of Lee Castleton’s case is not the 321,000 pounds. It is where it started: a computer saying he was 23,000 pounds short.
He did not cause it. He could not afford a lawyer, so he represented himself, lost in 2007, was ordered to pay 321,000 pounds in the Post Office’s legal costs, and went bankrupt. Horizon was later shown to produce false shortfalls.
Agents are about to produce that kind of evidence in bulk. Logs, receipts, delivery confirmations, all written by machines and all treated as fact until someone pays to challenge them. Most people will not pay, so the record wins by default.
That is why I like the shape of what @GenLayer is building. Many independent AI validators each review the evidence, then reach a verdict together, in minutes and at a fraction of the cost of a court. The point is not that machines are never wrong. The point is that no single record, and no single reviewer, gets the last word.
A record should be where a dispute starts, never where it ends.

I spent 2.5 hours on a treadmill yesterday preparing for the NYC Marathon.
When people ask how I find the time to train for endurance events while building a company, my answer is simple.
If it’s not in your calendar, it doesn’t exist.
As founders, we block out time for client calls, pitch meetings, and team syncs without thinking twice. But when it comes to training, taking care of your health, or spending uninterrupted time with your wife and friends, we assume we will just fit it in when we get a free moment.
The reality is that you will never have a “free moment.” The work will always expand to fill whatever time you give it.
If I want to shut my laptop off to be present with my wife, spend time with friends, and still get my miles in, I have to calendar those personal priorities just as strictly as a board meeting.
So it’s never an issue of needing more hours in the day. You just need to respect your personal calendar as much as your business one.
