After a nurse practitioner missed a cancer on his face, Jimmy Dore started looking into dermatology, and read this on air:
"Avoiding [the sun] doubles one's rate of dying and significantly increases your risk of cancer."
In a 20 year study, non-smokers who avoided the sun had the same risk of dying as smokers who got sunlight.

I have never denied that people who call themselves trans exist and in the UK, they rightly have exactly the same rights as every other citizen. What you want is for women to lose their sex-based rights to accommodate men who say they're women. That's the conflict.

Not only did this boy steal one place at the state meet from a girl, he deprived the entire Stadium High School girls' team the opportunity to compete as the top 49 individuals and top 6 teams qualify.
Logan Mihailoff finished in 6th place, and so scored only 6 points for Camas (low score wins in XC, the score being the sum of the placings of the best 5 runners) and the team finished in 4th with a total of 140 points.
Without the boy on their team, Camas would have finished in 8th place with 223 points.
Had Mihailoff competed against boys this year, he would not have even participated in this meet. His time of 18:49 is much slower that of the slowest varsity runner on the Camas boys' team of 17:06.
This single boy has caused multiple members of the girls' team to quit, has caused girls to walk off at the start line, he has stolen several medals, displaced numerous runners, and now deprived an entire team of the opportunity to compete at the state championship meet.
He's a mediocre runner who had no issue competing for two full seasons on the boys' team in a sport that is largely co-ed outside meets (girls and boys' teams usually practice together). His switch in teams did not change the people he was around at practice, does not make anyone look at him as a "girl," does nothing but allow him to take wins and opportunities he does not deserve.
Please end this.

Today the male Camas cross-country runner secured his spot to state, stealing it from a girl. We can either fight to protect the boy, or fight to protect the girls the spots were created for. We have to choose. Vote YES on 638. Do it for the girls. Do it for common sense.

Meet Benjamin Jones aka “Lisa Jones” or “Willow”.
Benjamin, an Australian man, was convinced in Germany of sexually abusing a 6 year old girl and imprisoned there for 6 years. He was then deported to Australia. He was placed on the AU child sex offender registry.
When he returned to Australia, he started claiming to be a woman (in 2018) and started taking hormones.
In 2021, he attacked a woman in a Melbourne alleyway, in broad daylight. The attack was so brazen, it made national news, but his gender identity was never mentioned by media.
He was convinced and sentenced to prison. In court, he used “she/her” pronouns. He was placed in Victoria’s Dame Phylis Frost Correctional Center, a woman’s prison. Terrified of him, the women inmates managed to get this information to outside the prison gates.
In 2022, Australian women including Women’s Forum Australia, Stassja Frei & myself, contacted Victorian politicians, the Victorian Equal Opportunity & Human Rights Commission and the AHRC about Jones being in a women’s Prison.

While the politicians ignored it, the response from the VEOHRC said amongst other deflections, “The Commission considers that Corrections Victoria’s policy for the management of prisoners who are trans, gender diverse or intersex provides a framework for prisoner placement decisions that is grounded in human rights principles.”
He stayed in the women’s prison.
By 2024, he was back on Australian streets. Sydney, specially. He stalked, threatened and attempted the rape a woman. Currently in a *men’s* prison, he is eligible for parole in 3 weeks.
We all know what will happen next.
Benjamin Jones showcases exactly why “gender identity” does not work in society. Why all laws on the basis of gender identity should be abolished.
A predatory, repeat attempted rapist, used “gender identity” to be placed in a woman’s prison. He was either ignored or defended by the government and institutions.
When he is released, under current Australian law, he can enter any woman only space he wants.

I'm a Board Certified anesthesiologist and have been in practice for 24 years. I just learned that the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where I trained has launched a program to increase flu vaccine uptake among children by vaccinating them while under anesthesia.
The program is called "Close your Eyes. We'll Immunize"
This is stunningly irresponsible. Here's why:
Anesthetists are extremely risk avoidant and endeavor to minimize patient exposure to anything which carries potential side effects. This is particularly true of pediatric patients who very often have never been exposed to anesthetic medications. We simply cannot know how an individual child will respond to these drugs for the first time.
Every single medication we administer during an operation can potentially trigger untoward or allergic responses. When this occurs our primary responsibility is to stabilize the patient. Our secondary responsibility is to identify the offending agent. There is absolutely no justification of introducing another agent, in this case a flu vaccine, which carries a risk of harm and contributes nothing to the success of the operation.
Some of the more common side effects of flu vaccines are fever (11-16%) and less commonly, a rash (1%). There is also an non-zero risk of severe allergic reactions and high-grade fevers which can develop over the course of minutes.
What if a child under anesthesia receives a vaccine and develops a rash and/or fever? Is it from the antibiotic that the surgeon requested? Is it from the narcotic? The anxiolytic? The barbiturate?
Anesthetic gases can also (rarely) trigger a life threatening response called Malignant Hyperthermia which commonly presents as a high fever. Without subsequent testing we cannot know which agent was responsible. Most commonly the testing is never done and the child’s record will forever reflect the possibility that some or all of the drugs which were used are responsible for their reaction. This makes future anesthetic care significantly more challenging and will require the use of alternatives which may not be necessary.
Advocating for a flu vaccine while a child is anesthetized reflects the pervasive yet inaccurate attitude among the medical establishment that vaccines are perfectly safe. I simply cannot believe that my mentors would have ever supported this initiative when I was a resident there. Close your eyes indeed.

This is a follow-up to my last pronoun video, because comments like this prove exactly why the conversation matters.
“Misgendering” is not the issue.
The issue is whether women are allowed to speak accurately about sex, male bodies, male violence, and the female category without being insulted, corrected, punished, or silenced.
Calling men “she/her” is not just a private act of politeness. Once a man is treated as a woman in language, he can be treated as a woman in policy.
That is how men gain access to women’s prisons, shelters, bathrooms, locker rooms, and sports.
Women’s rights begin with the ability to name women as a sex class. If we cannot say who women are, we cannot protect what women need.
