We have released Remix v2.6.6. In this update, we have revamped the security audit workflow, added new Solidity templates, and made some developer experience improvements to the Editor and Deploy & Run. Details below:
Deploy & Run can now fill function inputs with AI-generated sample data, so you stop hunting for a valid address or bytes32 array every time you test.

Building a zero-knowledge dapp in @EthereumRemix just got easier.
"QuickDapp" now builds two things together in one place: your contract, and the privacy logic that proves something about it without revealing the private details behind it.
zkVerify is the piece that actually checks the proof holds up, confirming it's valid before anyone trusts the result. So your app generates a proof gets checked and verified from the start.
The whole process got simpler, too. Instead of typing through a whole series of prompts, you now fill out one clear form to generate your app.
You can also connect several contracts at once, like a token and the system that stakes it, and they all work together from day one. Need to change one component later? Swap it in without rebuilding everything else.
The look got an upgrade, too. The very first version of your app now looks polished enough for real-world use.

On Remix, you can switch to the low-cost models to save RemixAI credits. The low-cost option limits your AI options to the cheapest tier of models available for your plan and switches to the first one available. Currently supports models from DeepSeek, Ling, MiniMax, Xiaomi, Zhipu AI (GLM), Mistral, and OpenAI Labs. Try it out at app.remix.live.
This class of scams has been around for a while now. We initially wrote about it and how victims can detect and protect themselves from it in 2022 -> medium.com/remix-ide/remix-i…
...and since then, we've added a lot of features that make it difficult to get victims to execute this type of code on Remix. For example, a warning modal pops up every time you paste code into Remix, prompting you to use our AI Assistant to review the code. Our AI Assistant is able to catch this class of scams and warn you even if the code is deeply obfuscated.
Scammers found a way to make people drain their own wallets without sending them a phishing link.
They uploaded YouTube tutorials showing people how to build an AI crypto trading bot with Claude.
People followed the tutorial themselves.
Copied the code.
Deployed the smart contract themselves.
Funded it from their own wallets.
And approved every transaction themselves.
Except the “trading bot” had no trading logic.
It was built to send their ETH straight to the scammers.
224 wallets lost 274.6 ETH, worth about $517,000 when it was stolen.
The median victim lost 1 ETH.
Some victims even got an error after getting drained telling them to deposit another 50% to fix the bot.
They literally got people to build, fund and approve their own wallet drainer.

You can now add and replace multiple contracts, up to 7, from the update modal.
This means one dapp can talk to several contracts at once, like a token and a staking contract working together. And when you redeploy or update a contract, you can swap it in without starting over.
We also updated our design system, so even the first version of your dapp looks ready to share. Try the new QuickDapp in Remix: app.remix.live
