What Are Free ZonesâAnd Why Hasnât Anyone Told You About Them?
Ask your family and friends if theyâve heard of Freeports, Special Economic Zones, or AI Growth Zones. Most will look at you like you have two heads.
That should worry you.
Hereâs What Iâve Discovered
The UK is being quietly carved into deregulated economic zones, areas where normal tax rules, labour protections, and regulatory oversight donât fully apply. The government promotes them as engines of innovation, job creation, and net-zero progress.
Iâve been documenting what they really are since the advent of Brexit.
Through FOI requests, policy analysis, and tracking the money, Iâm exposing the connections between UK free zones and a global network of tech billionaires, anarcho-capitalists, and neoliberal policymakers who share a vision: replacing democratic government with corporate governance.
The Players
This isnât conspiracy theory, there are documented relationships between:
Tech oligarchs (Peter Thiel, Marc Andreessen, Elon Musk, Balaji Srinivasan)
Political figures across the spectrum (JD Vance, Liz Truss, Rishi Sunak, Keir Starmer)
Libertarian theorists (Curtis Yarvin, Patri Friedman, Tom Bell)
Their shared ideology? The âDark Enlightenmentâ, a movement that views democracy as obsolete and advocates for corporate-run territories governed like businesses, not nations.
Why This Matters Now
Three major UK parties, Conservative, Labour, and Reform UK, all back this policy. It passed with:
âNo parliamentary debate (secondary legislation)
âNo public consultation
âNo press notification
We have less than 5 years before transparency mechanisms, public regulators, and audit bodies lose access to these zones entirely. After that, legal accountability becomes nearly impossible.
How public money (state aid) is being funnelled into private profit in these zones
The Brexit connection and why timing matters
Which corporations are positioning themselves inside these enclaves
The legal architecture is being built to shield these zones from oversight
What this means for British sovereignty and democratic accountability
This is volunteer research. Iâm not funded by think tanks or political parties. Iâm documenting what mainstream media wonât touch.
Alternatively, you can support my research through my online Ko-Fi tip jar if you can; it helps me dedicate more time to FOI requests, document analysis, raising awareness, and connecting the dots, something the MSM is singularly failing to do.

Friendly reminder that rabid Zionist billionaire Larry Ellison purchased TikTok in order to shut down criticism of Israel.
TikTok just permanently banned my verified page for my advocacy for people with 3.7M followers. I am blacklisted from using Meta. I am demonetized on YouTube.
I lost my college education, career, and now my platforms.
Donât know what to do right now. If you can support my voice/work please get a subscription to my publication yourfavoriteguy.com if we cannot rally enough support I fear Iâll have no choice but to pause my advocacy while I figure out how to get stable again.

His chancellor ordered this spy plane to fly over Gaza to collect intel for the genocidal Israeli military, with the information imparted in real-time
Of course Burnham doesnât want an inquiry. His number 2 belongs in the Hague. We will not stop exposing the Labour gĂŠnocidaires
NEW: Andy Burnham has officially rejected Jeremy Corbyn's call for a public inquiry into "British complicity" in Gaza.
The former Labour leader wrote to the PM in July asking him to back his Private Member's Bill for a Chilcot-style inquiry, which would look at any UK military, economic or political cooperation with Israel since October 2023.
This would include the power to question ministers on the supply or use of weapons, surveillance aircraft and Royal Air Force bases.
The idea was rejected by Starmer. The govt have confirmed in response to a written question today that their position remains unchanged under Burnham, saying an inquiry isn't necessary due to the "extensive mechanisms already available for parliamentary accountability and oversight".
Corbyn said:âAndy Burnham rightly said that the last Labour government âgot it wrongâ over Gaza. But his words will mean very little if he doesnât break with the last governmentâs shameful record of complicity, secrecy and evasion.
"Many of us will remember in the aftermath of Iraq, the government of the day spent many years resisting attempts to uncover the truth. In the end, they could not prevent the inevitable. Just like Iraq, we will remember those who obstructed the path to justice."

The more children Israel kills, the more unpopular it becomes. The more unpopular Israel becomes, the more violently we are throat-fucked with the narrative that "antisemitism" is a major problem in our society.
The UK's Department for Education has released a 107-page review which asserts that much more needs to be done to protect Jewish students in England from discrimination. Which in and of itself sounds reasonable, until you look at the actual document.
The review, led by Sir David Bell, mentions the word "political" or "geopolitical" no fewer than 125 times. It mentions the word "Israel" or "Israeli" 60 times and the word "Palestine" or "Palestinian" 35 times.
So, as always, it is clear that this isn't actually about protecting a religious minority from persecution.
The Bell review lists 27 recommendations for dealing with "antisemitism" in English schools, which the government has reportedly accepted in their entirety. The first recommendation is adopting the hotly disputed International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism which lists common criticisms of the state of Israel as hateful toward Jews.
Under the IHRA definition, you are guilty of antisemitism if you compare the modern state of Israel to Nazi Germany, or if you say that Israel exists as a racist endeavor. This framing effectively brands anyone a hateful bigot who agrees with the unanimous consensus of international human rights groups that Israel is a genocidal apartheid state.
"Anti-Israel attitudes have distinctly increased over time," the review says. "In 2020, 23% agreed with the statement 'Israel treats the Palestinians like the Nazis treated the Jews', which increased to 45% in 2025. The prevalence of beliefs such as these, which could be regarded as antisemitic according to the IHRA definition, demonstrate the difficulty faced by schools and colleges in tackling antisemitism."
Under the section titled "Political expression and pupil wellbeing in schools," the review scorned the use of "political identifiers" in schools such as "badges, flags, or other political symbols and slogans such as âFree Palestineâ, including staff displaying Palestinian flags in their classrooms without relevance to the lesson."
"It is the view of this review that political identifiers do not have a place in our schools," the report reads, while stopping short of saying such expression should be banned in all instances.
"Political expression by staff can create a learning environment in which some learners feel distressed, excluded, or unable to engage fully with their education," the review asserts. "In such circumstances, colleges may be justified in placing proportionate restrictions on lawful political expression where this is necessary to ensure learners' education and fulfil the collegeâs wider duties."
"In practice, antisemitism is frequently intertwined with political views about a nation state or political ideology. This means that challenging antisemitism often requires teachers to address or correct political claims or misinformation, which can appear to conflict with impartiality duties," the review says.
This uncritical assertion that "antisemitism is frequently intertwined with political views about a nation state or political ideology" tells you everything you need to know about what this review is really designed to accomplish. This is about stomping out political speech that is critical of Israel, and nothing else.
The review of course also attempts to conflate antizionism with antisemitism, saying, "Antizionists can express views that include a deep hatred for the existence of Israel and of those who believe in its right to exist as a Jewish homeland. Such views may be antisemitic, in certain contexts. There are also examples where Zionism is used as a synonym for âJewishâ to hide antiJewish hatred within lawful political expression."
I am so fucking sick of this shit. People who live in Israel's western allied states are getting bludgeoned and bludgeoned and bludgeoned by these ham-fisted psychological operations by state and non-state actors with more and more aggression the more Israel's popularity rating goes down the tubes, and it's not even working. The way these freaks keep trying to stick their rapey fingers into our minds and manipulate the thoughts we think about a genocidal apartheid state is fucking disgusting. It's only making everyone hate Israel more.

Why does the Greens' "Zionism is racism" policy provoke such fear from the UK's political and media class?
Because it collapses their key script â by emphasising that the struggle to end Palestinian oppression is against a racist political movement, Zionism, not against Jews.
The political and media class are so desperate to keep advancing this script that they're now forced to defame the UK's only Jewish party leader as an antisemite to make it make sense.
It doesn't make sense â can never make sense â because it's a lie.

"For me as a Palestinian, Zionism is racism. Zionism is genocidal. Zionism is sociopathic. Zionism is all about ethnic cleansing for a group of people at the expense of another. If I were not Palestinian, if I just happened to be a Jewish person, I would have lived with all my rights granted. No one would have questioned me, no one would have come after my land, my country, to kill us. So if that is not racism, then what is? Ever since I came to the UK, I've been hearing some bizarre ideas: 'Zionism means different things to different people'. Zionism means only one thing. And it means one thing to the people that it was manifested at. Zionism means genocide and death."

The most grotesque mistake the Lib Dems have made to date will return to haunt them.
The vast majority of the public see Zionism as a fully weaponised colonial ideology with a track record of decades of atrocities.
I am sick to my stomach watching the spineless British establishment kowtow to Israel, while relinquishing its own sovereignty to such a despicable and sick foreign society.
- For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Whatever excesses Israel commits in the name of Zionism, it is clear to me that the good people of this world are pushing back and rejecting their actions.

Same week, Sarah Helm, wife of the National Security Adviser, posted: "God help us authors who support Palestine and Palestine Action."
The Met said it was assessing the post.
The Guardian and BBC now report no action will be taken.

Tower Hamlets Council refused the Brick Lane data centre unanimously. Nine resident groups opposed it. The council and the mayor asked for housing instead.
The government approved it anyway, through ministerial recovery, with the letter signed on behalf of Angela Rayner. The scheme offers 44 homes, six of them for social rent, and a data centre built around high-frequency trading.
Rayner's partner, Sam Tarry, has been senior adviser since May at NorthPoint Strategy, a lobby firm whose sectors include AI, crypto and energy.
Its chair is Tory peer Lord Wharton. Its crypto council lists Andreessen Horowitz among its clients. NorthPoint says Tarry helps clients "shape policy agendas".
The minister who decides where data centres go shares a household with the adviser to the industry that needs them. đ§ľ

A majority of the 635 children held in Israeli prisons in 2025 were put in solitary confinement, usually for between one and two weeks â some up to eight times.
92 per cent of those children had not been sentenced.
A third had not even been charged with an offence.
