Covered this a bit. Accused of not being able to to the job, lazy and incompetent too. I’ll be honest I don’t know how I’d answer that if i was asked this question. The only real response was pains them that we feel that way and they are not lazy.
Any real questions as to why the Club employ executives out of their depth, other than to be an enthusiastic, highly paid shield for he who must not be mentioned?
Any real questions as to why we only budget to win the league 1 point ahead of the huns, and abandon ANY strategy that would avoid us being ritually humiliated in Europe?
All the noise made about communication is pointless, as it all comes back to being a ploy and strategy to take pressure away from incompetence, insecurity, and their vaguely disguised hostility to supporters. Just watch the expressions on their faces from the plush seats on game day, as they glare as the peasants below them.
Supporters, the working class, who are the lifeblood of the continuing existence of the Club. Supporters who pump their precious earned wages into the hope of, at least, watching a half-decent team. These emotionally disconnected suits, corporate disciples on staggeringly high annual salaries, who continually fail at the basics of of their strategic responsibilities.
As a former corporate executive myself, who was privy to the workings and bletherings of a boardroom, I wonder if anyone asked questions along these lines?
I think I’ve covered it on my timeline mate. Essentially 5 year plan. 5 league titles, champions league by year 2 and in knockouts by year 4. MON seemed to be taken aback a bit by this but the board members agreed this was a reasonable expectation.
Fair question. I’ll believe the stuff when I see it but it doesn’t matter what I believe anyway.
As far as I’m aware the Greenock csc has been trying to get them down for a Q&A for some time.

Maybe it's a change in strategy. Perhaps they'll go to other CSCs in future. I suspect they will.
My point was out of respect for Martin. He was told exactly what fans generally expect. Folk obv wanted to ask who was picking the team etc but refrained rightly or wrongly.

The club is an analogue business in a digital world. Old men with little grasp of what a modern strategy looks like for fan engagement beyond this kind of thing.
It was difficult to tell but he isn’t going anywhere in the short term. He aknowledged that he wouldn’t be there had they not won the double last season. That’s just the way it works
I can’t comment on who exactly is offended or annoyed but there seemed to be some of that with the attacks on the supporters club and the supporters like me who attended.
