Congratulations to the 19th PhD from my group, Dr. Nikhil Thota (@nik_thota)! He did beautiful work advancing machine learning techniques in synergy with our understanding of the hierarchical structure of multi scale energy materials. @hernandez_lab @JohnsHopkins @JHU_ChemBE

On my annual pilgrimage to Tucson. I’m looking forward to catching up with the @RCSA1 #CottrellScholar community. If you see me, let’s take a selfie, and post on your preferred social(s). In the end, I’ll report which one won the count!

I saw it firsthand at the #Lindau2025 Nobel Laureates meeting--international young scientists welcomed and recruited in Germany and elsewhere. Some of the very best are leaving, and many of the best will no longer come. wsj.com/politics/policy/us-b…

We just finished our 13th @TellurideSci biennial workshop on Chemical Dynamics in Complex Environments (Chem-DiCE). Hard to believe that we started 25 years ago! Many thanks to all the participants. Everyone was engaged. The science was awesome. And, I learned a lot.
