I totally get it but like any weird pop culture phenomenon I’m curious if only because it’s seems to be close to a western isekai or light novel thing. Want to get a feel myself

my mom really liked the french narrator
personally the synopsis alone is destroying any interest i could have in it
Kind of he was darker In his early months but he actually did lighten up early on once Robin got in and the majority of his early years is closer to Adam West than the shadow. Batman darkness as we know it now probably should be credited to later eras like O’Neil and Miller
If it’s now going to be Canadian I just expect a 60 percent rise in candian content. Can’t wait to play the space hockey game
I see the potential, at the end of the day this is probably meant more for the creator and their niche friends so no harm done, it’s flawed but I rather let it have its space

I'm enjoying the slow evolution of MediaOCD as a store because now you look into different categories including TOKU, oh be still my heart!
I've kind of accepted Superman history to them is SILVER AGE IS THE PINNACLE OF SOCIETY AND IT WAS ALL GOOD BEFORE BRYNE CAME AROUND
…..this confused my brain for 15 seconds
*it’s the 1980s how the fuck do I read all the great Spider-Man comics without spending a lot of money?
Like we critique the direct comic market but it used to have a point because that was a way you could lock in the comics you wanted to get do you didn’t miss an issue

Yeah. While things could be better(especially at Marvel) I'm glad I grew up in an era where trade paperbacks and collections of older stories became normalized
As much as we gripe reprints. They could be better but you don’t have to track down reprint series or digests to read the most important stories and you have options both legal and the like to start with full eras

What's one way that comics are better now than in the past?
For me, one way comics are better now is the options creators have in publishing their work. Compared to the 80s & 90s. Creators have so many ways getting their work out there. 1/2
The Kent’s are kind of a unique case I wish Superman twitter would acknowledge as kind of weird because wow you want Superboy back cool let’s talk about the Kent death perception as important to the being undermined by them being supporting characters in a comic for 40 years
Like the Kent’s compared to others actually had stories with them doing things in the Superboy stories if Superboy had to angst it was often about his krypton parents
Probably because of Superboy as Teen superheroes developed as a concept Superman motivation of being a superhero drifted from his dead earth parents being part of it to just a possible step on his evolution to most people. So to these 70s fans and up it became kind of pointless
