Racing is on for tomorrow, the last day of #torpids18! W1 at 12:30 and M1 at 14:00 are both looking to add to their bumps from day 1. Sadly the pride of ECBC, M2, won't be racing as lower divisions are called off #bleedred #elements
Gutted to announce that Friday's racing has also been cancelled due to the #BeastFromTheEast. Fingers crossed that we'll be back on for Saturday to keep up that 100% bump record!
**UPDATE**
Due to the extreme conditions it has been confirmed that racing tomorrow (Thursday 1st) has been CANCELLED.
Hopefully we'll be back racing again on Friday though - get hyped!
M1 join in on the fun and get their bump, catching @mertonboatclub before Donnington Bridge. Merton also caught @StAnnesBC so that’s a chain bump and +2!
Bump for W1! They get the overbump on @WadhamBoatie, reeling them in along greenbanks #huge
It’s the morning of #torpids18 and the sun is shining! Get riverside at these times to see ECBC’s crews begin their week of tearing up the Isis:
M2 - 13:00
W1 - 14:30
M1 - 16:00
Floreat Exon!
Thank you @ClinPsychOxford for this fantastic action shot of M1's bump on the Saturday of Eights... @StAnnesBC instagram.com/p/BUof4yiFL5b/
So another fantastic bumps campaign comes to an end. Thank you @ourcs and to all alumni who came to support, see you next year! #floreatexon
W1 bumped yet again on @LMHBC, finishing +3. If LMH hadn't luckily bumped out on day 1 it would have been blades! #thatsbumps #smashedit💪💪
M1 bumped @StAnnesBC at the 4th time of asking over the past 2 years to finish +1 and end the season back in div2 for Torpids and Eights!
M2 won spoons (given by 4 blades-winning crews!). Spoons were all the cutlery they had last night so they've promised to never do it again!
Eights roundups: W2 were bumped on Saturday but had a fantastic week, including the first W2 bump in summer eights in 4 years! 👊
Racing runs an hour earlier on Saturday, here's when we'll be hitting the waves:
W2: 12.45
M2: 1.20
M1: 3.45 & 4.45
W1: 4.15
Can't wait to welcome @ExeterCollegeOx alumni back to the boathouse this afternoon for some pimms, shared stories & (hopefully) bumps!🤞🚣♀️
The last day of #eights17 is here already, how time flies when you're having fun (/smashing bumps)...
A flurry of bumps as M1 take @orielrowing and W1 @mertonboatclub in the space of 45 minutes! #whatarush
