After much deliberation, the Exeter Spitfires have decided to rejoin the BBF and compete within SWWBL in the 2025 season.
This decision has not been made or affected in any way due to personal matters, as our relationships within the WBL were always excellent and is something
we highly value. However, with our baseball club on the verge of potential exponential growth, we feel this would be better supported within the structure and guidance of the NGB.
We leave the WBL with a heavy heart and wish to retain the good relationships we have forged
It's no longer about the money, it's the number of supporters

Crowdfunding is a piece of cake! If every one of our followers donated just £1 each, we would make our threshold to release the @Sport_England @LottoGoodCauses match funding amount.
If everyone donated £2 we would make out @crowdfunderuk target!

Hi @TylerKepner 200 years after his birth in Exeter, we are cutting the turf on brand new diamond to be named after Henry Chadwick. Less than a mile away from the church in which he was baptised, would you like to help us publicise it?

An initiative to get more women and girls playing baseball has been declared a huge success with more than 150 people turning up for an open day in Exeter.
@ExeterSpitfires said they were thrilled with the response to the event.

If you are interested in trying out #baseball in #exeter then why not come to our pitch-up and play Tee Ball session on Sunday morning, and stay for the WBL Exhibition match at 1pm

We are building a purpose built new diamond to be named after him. It would be great if you could help us to cover this! @BBCSport @MLBEurope @bsuk
