As I said at the time, the multi-state settlement with Meta was a slap on the wrist. New Mexico was just awarded $25 billion for privacy violations, with $15 billion related to Cambridge Analytica. Some companies are using clauses that ban licensed public adjusters—and may even reject a claim if you hire one. Homeowners who use these advocates can get up to 30% more money.
