Traditionally the crisis management veterans of the first Finnish peacekeeping force, the Finnish United Nations Company, meet before the Heritage Day. We had the honour to welcome one of first Finnish peacekeepers, Aimo Kupiainen to #fincentfi
Today, #fincentfi celebrated a journey that began 57 years ago. The Heritage Day brought together veterans, personnel and partners to honour the past and look to the future. The day began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Peacekeepers Memorial in Hietaniemi Cemetery.
