JD Vance wants an honest conversation about why Republicans got wiped out last night, so let's have one… because his very long post covers the war, cost of living, Israel, amnesty and a couple of pollsters, and never once uses the word accountability or asks a single question about the system that counted the votes.
He says our voters showed up, Florida came in 9 points more Republican than Democrat, turnout was fine, and the real reason we lost is the war, the president said so himself, end of conversation. And look, I am not going to pretend people are happy about a war they never voted for and gas and groceries they cannot afford. That is real. But you want me to believe the same people who stood in line for hours for Trump in 2024 woke up two years later and handed the House and the Senate to the other side, and the machines, the voter rolls, the mail-in ballots and the same rotted system we have been screaming about since 2020 had nothing to do with it? Come on.
Here is the reality. You had the White House, the House and the Senate for two years. What changed? Did we get paper ballots? Did we get clean voter rolls? Did we get voter ID? Did a single person who rigged 2020 ever see the inside of a courtroom? No… we got speeches, we got promises, we got wait until the next election, and now the next election is here and they are telling us it was the war.
The people who walked away did not walk away over one thing. They walked away because they watched the people they elected leave the guilty untouched while the traitors kept organizing, kept funding and kept building the machine that just took the Republic out from under us in a single night. There's your honest conversation, JD. Not a pollster's top four list.
And then he tells the people who are angry to take that energy and go elect Republicans who share their worldview… we did that. We gave you everything. And what we got back was a war and the same elections they have been gaming for decades.
@realDonaldTrump, you have until January before this Congress is gone. Use it. Secure the elections, hold the people who stole them accountable, and stop letting the people around you tell us it was the war.
Pray, Stand, Speak, ACT.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.
So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."
Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.
There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.
But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.
Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel
Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)
In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.
If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.
But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.
I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

You are playing their game. Stop rationalizing "why we lost". We didn't. There is no way every county in Texas voted blue. No chance we lost Iowa and Kansas.
Wake the fuck up and listen to your gut. This is 2020 all over again and they stole it right in front of our eyes. Again.
So stop trying to lay blame. And if anyone has to have the blame for this, it sure isn't Trump, gas prices or the iran war. It's Thune not passing the SAVE ACT.
Get up and fight to recount every ballot by hand instead of playing the reasonable, nice, mellow, conservative they all want you to be.
Fuck that. We have 3 months to pass all the bills that wait in the Senate, and audit and overturn those results with the real ones.
That's the only attitude I'll accept. Anyone that wants to accept this crap without a fight, bend over, and take it, can feck off.
Here’s why we lost:
-Iran war
-Diesel prices
-Gas prices
-Housing prices
-Food prices
Here’s why America is not over:
-We control the White House
-6-3 Supreme Court
-We control the Executive branch (DOJ, FBI, DHS, ICE, HHS, State etc)
-We control the military
-We have the biggest right wing, independent media machine in history that now has a true enemy to fight
-We have free speech on the internet
If we fix most of the reasons why we lost, we’ll do a lot better in 2028.
Let the new fight begin.
NOW you understand why ZERO election integrity laws were passed to FIX and SECURE our elections, when we had EVERY opportunity to do so.
If they give control of our elections back to the people, THEY lose control.
They will do whatever it takes for this NOT to happen.

Republicans were handed a trifecta and a mandate in 2024, yet Congress, specifically the Senate, did nothing but undermine President Trump and leave him to govern via temporary executive orders that ended up in protracted legal battles with activist judges that were never held to account.
John Thune allowed over 100 critical House-passed bills to die in the Senate because he refused to nuke the filibuster, something every Democrat has said they’ll do if they take back control.
Republican voters begged for 2 years to get any type of election integrity legislation passed, and John Thune refused.
Chuck Grassley refused to get rid of blue slips to get all of Trump’s judicial nominees confirmed, but had plenty of time to upload videos of himself at Dairy Queen.
Less than 20% of Trump’s EO’s were codified into law.
This was the LEAST productive Congress in history, taking 364 days off.
Why would Republican voters feel inspired to go out and vote for people who literally do nothing with the power given to them?

Cannot over-state the importance of what is being reported by @datarepublican & @nataliegwinters
They are absolutely correct. We are looking at a shaping operation similar to 2020 where they told you: “on election day it would look like Trump was winning but when the mail-in ballots were counted, Biden would win”. That was exactly what happened, but it was a lie. It happened because they engineered the steal & prepped the information battle-space so you would believe it & they could get away with it. So you would not pay attention to mail-in ballot drops that were 100 percent for one candidate - which everyone knows never happens organically. The purpose of a shaping operation is to manipulate your mind in order to engineer your behavior & manipulate the outcome. How you defeat this is very simple: you expose it so that the lies collapse & wethepeople are not deceived. Share everywhere, talk about this - folo those reporting on this. Do not disengage or try to hide your head in the sand. This is the moment to make your life count by standing for something much bigger than all of us. It is a gift. Don’t waste it.
Take the time to watch.

Political systems in America were slowly and deliberately and incrementally moved into dysfunctional states at all levels long ago.
The people behind that 'long march through the institutions' strategy are now being dragged out of the shadows and into the light. Much progress is being made in restoring this country back into it's proper state.
The purpose of the deliberate dysfunction strategy was to demoralize enough of the voting public to make it far easier for the very few people of ill intent to gain and keep control.
At the county level.
At the city level.
At the state level.
At the federal level.
You don't need to demoralize everyone - just enough. It's impossible to demoralize an entire city of 1,000,000. But if you can successfully demoralize 95% of them to opt out, you can control everything in that city with less than 5%.
And once you're in control, it gets progressively easier to stay in control, as you quite deliberately fuck everything up and increase the demoralization.
A successful demoralization program targeting the native American citizen population results in fewer and fewer Americans participating in their own governance.
They will opt out. They will stay home. And they'll be PROUD they are staying home. They are utterly convinced they are doing the 'right' and the 'smart' thing.
As they do exactly what their enemies programmed them to do. Give up and stay out of the way.
It's insidious, how effective this strategy is, when you think about it.
You not only sneak in and seize control away from American citizens and hand it to your foreign business partners...you've managed to CONDITION and PROGRAM enough of the "patriot" public to believe RESISTANCE IS FUTILE, and it's actually a BADGE OF HONOR to continue to sit on your ass at home.
Any attempt to reverse course or end the demoralization and revitalize the country cannot succeed because...something something.
It's like you're fighting the Borg from the Stark Trek: TNG television series.
Once the initial demoralization inertia is established, it is hard for it to be shaken off and a return to the national foundations of citizen activism and participation to be renewed.
One thing that makes the current Great Awakening and The Great American Election Reset underway right now harder than they have to be is that a lot of people who think they are on our side are actually Manchurian initiates of the Borg who've been mentally programmed all of their lives by our enemies to sabotage both themselves and us.
These Manchurian initiates look for media figures who will reaffirm to them with confidence just how much their participation in civic affairs is worth.
Nothing.
They literally look for people tell them it's OK to stay home, opt out, recognize and embrace the futility. Glory in it, in fact.
And I've been watching which media figures out there amplify this insidious signal in an attempt to sabotage and subvert a powerful national shift currently underway by convincing as many American citizens and patriots as possible to join them in...
[checks card]
...recognizing that "we're not voting our way out of this!" and "you sound vaccinated if you think your vote matters!"
Trump is, once again, busting his ass and quite placing his life at risk and urging you in the strongest and most sincere tones possible to participate in saving your own country.
And certain assholes out there are now also, once again, standing on the fringes right now, very helpfully trying to yell over Trump and 'remind you' just how fucking powerless you are and how Trump is fooling you into thinking he could actually pull this off, and the smart thing to do right now at this juncture is to ditch MAGA and start over with some Ron Paul clone or something.
We're in a crucial time for our country. We're shaking off the programmed inertia. We've got the Borg on the run. These Shadow Government folks are literally being dragged out of the shadows and into the light right now.
Dark to Light is happening. The country is waking up. It is moving, and moving in the right direction.
And this really bothers some people, who are ostensibly on our side and are trying to 'help' us.
But when you listen to what they've been saying over the last quite remarkable 20 months of this revolutionary new Trump term - and I have - what you shall tend to notice is that overall these people are - for some strange reason - depressed and sad all the time, and feeling powerless and talking about how dumb it is to get involved and participate in the political system, as President Trump and his good friend General Michael Flynn have been tirelessly urging you to do.
Local action, national impact.
Right as the country is shaking off the demoralization program deceptively inflicted upon it for several generations, angry upset voices in our new alternate media are being raised to 'remind' everyone nothing's happening and nothing is going to happen, we're not voting our way out of this, why participate when you can continue to stagnate, etc. etc.
Every other day, these influencers and podcasters simultaneously together - almost as if their reading the same talking points to us - come up with some new narrative to furiously attempt to blackpill and demoralize the increasingly smaller percentage of the Trump base that still pays them any mind.
It's almost as if they don't want to see a massive wave of inspired citizen activism continue, grow, and expand, as it currently is.
As the growing citizen participation parade marches by, they stand on the fringes of it, using their best carnival barker voices to 'remind' everyone this is all stupid, you're not changing anything, you CAN'T change anything, you are powerless and you are being led around by people who TELL YOU you are changing things, but they're just fucking with you. You are wasting all your time and energy, it will come to nothing.
And the faster the citizen activism parade passes these blackpilling demoralization agents by, the louder their voices are yelling, and they can't help the little tinge of whine that creeps in to their voices.
I am enjoying the spectacle of this. Very much.
Because nothing can stop what is happening.
Trump isn't taking our country back himself. WE are taking it back. He's the conductor leading the band music, and we're all involved. All these doomer narratives about how we've been 'tricked' into thinking we can take effective action when we're powerless and impotent are based on an emotional falsehood.
Well, unless we do it their way. Which is a violent revolution. You may have noticed the common theme that crept into the messaging from the doomer blackpill crowd over the past 3 months.
"We're not voting our way outta this!" quite naturally segues into "violent revolution with guns n' shit like that!"
So when they're not stridently encouraging us to abandon the 11 year MAGA project just as it reaches the cusp of the mountaintop it's been climbing towards for a decade, they're waxing rhapsodic about the violent civil war they fantasize about at night, the collapse into anarchy and chaos.
Fuck the Dugin Network and all their bullshit fake charities and fronts, especially the Catholic ones.
Now, for no reason whatsoever, here's first a picture of an insidious asshole who's been telling people for over a year now that "we're not voting our way out of this!' and is using his podcast to proudly announce that neither he nor his wife will be voting in these midterm elections, and maybe it's time to start thinking about picking up our guns and shooting some people.
As a countermeasure to that demoralization messaging, may I present 'Brian 3:16', a meme I made 4 years ago, when crazy asshole Lin Wood was using what marginal influence he had left to encourage his followers not to vote?

Here’s my list of Day 1 Executive Orders. They’ll be signed before midnight on January 11. Buckle up.
E.O. #1: Investigate local property tax spikes.
This executive order will direct the Department of Taxation, in consultation with the Auditor of State, to review changes in property taxes in every county, township, municipality, school district, and special district in Ohio, and surface how increased property taxes have been spent. Every jurisdiction that has seen an increase of over 100% in property taxes since 2020 will be subject to a full investigation into spending realities and needs.
E.O. #2: End sanctuary cities across Ohio.
This executive order will prohibit Ohio cities, townships, counties, or other local jurisdictions from adopting policies that would prevent or impede their law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration authorities. Specifically, if a political subdivision does not honor detainer requests or share information as federal law allows, the local government will lose eligibility for state grants run by executive agencies, including public-safety and homeland-security grants, until it complies. The sanctuary city policy would also be referred for possible legal action.
E.O. #3: Stop new data center projects until comprehensive legislation is signed.
This executive order directs every state agency, board, and commission to pause action on any application, permit, incentive or approval for a new data center to give the General Assembly time to pass comprehensive data center legislation that includes my non-negotiable principles.
E.O. #4: Direct the Department of Medicaid to investigate waste, fraud, and abuse.
This order will direct the Department of Medicaid to apply for a Section 1115 waiver that caps Ohio's Medicaid spending, in line with Tennessee's original TennCare III waiver, which let the state keep up to 55 percent of federal savings when it spent below the cap. Under similar terms more of every dollar of fraud that Ohio stops would return to Ohio.
E.O. #5: Prioritize solving violent crimes to rapidly get criminals off our streets.
This executive order will direct the Departments of Public Safety and of Rehabilitation and Corrections to prioritize violent crime clearance rates in discretionary funding available to support local law enforcement. Tools including advanced forensic science will enable local law enforcement to increase the number of violent crimes solved from the current 34% level to aggressively eliminate violent criminality in Ohio cities.
E.O. #6: Comprehensively review all existing state contracts to root out wasteful spending.
This executive order will order a review of every executive-branch contract paid in-part or in-full from the General Revenue Fund. The Department of Administrative Services, working with the Office of Budget and Management, will review each contract's legal basis, necessity, performance, alternatives, and the cost of ending it versus continuing it, then recommend continuation or termination.
E.O. #7: Establish an inter-agency anti-fraud task force, with direct accountability to the Governor.
This executive order will establish an inter-agency task force, reporting directly to the Governor, focused on combating various forms of fraud including, but not limited to: Medicaid fraud, benefits fraud, and child care fraud; visa fraud; voter registration fraud; trucking fraud; foreign CDL licensure; and abuse of foreign hiring by public entities. The anti-fraud task force will consist of experts from across state government and the private sector and may include representatives from the Auditor of State, Secretary of State, and Attorney General.

Hello Senator Thune,
Let's expose what you're really doing with "reconciliation."
You announced it yesterday, eleven months after the House passed the SAVE America Act. You're not trying to pass this bill. You're trying to kill it in a way you can blame on process.
Here's how we know:
Reconciliation requires the Senate parliamentarian to rule that provisions are "budgetary." Citizenship verification is not budgetary. Photo ID mandates are not budgetary. The parliamentarian will gut the bill. Then you'll shrug and say "we tried." We see through you.
Meanwhile, you WON'T use the tools that actually work:
Rule XIX limits each senator to two speeches per legislative day. Keep the Senate in continuous session, file cloture daily, and the filibuster exhausts in ~12-20 days. You dismissed it as "complicated." Because if you tried and succeeded, you'd have to actually pass the bill.
Harry Reid nuked the filibuster in 2013 when he wanted results.
Mitch McConnell changed Senate rules THREE times and canceled the August recess.
Chuck Schumer used reconciliation within months on a 50-50 Senate.
You have 53 seats. You've changed nothing, canceled nothing, and waited eleven months.
Now let's talk donors:
• Goldman Sachs: $150K to you - top H-1B user
• Google: $75K - lobbies against E-Verify
• Meta: $72.5K - Zuckerberg's FWD[.]us pushes mass immigration
• Wells Fargo: $90K - banks undocumented immigrants
Same corporations sponsor Punchbowl News, where you sit for "Fly Out Days" which nobody watches except Congress staffers and K Street lobbyists who pays premium bucks for legislative intelligence. Their reporter then telegraphs to the audience the SAVE Act "will ultimately fail."
Corporate money flows to you AND to the outlet that frames your inaction as inevitable.
We see the loop.
You called grassroots anger a "paid influencer ecosystem." YOU are the paid influencer. You take the wrong side of a 80% issue because you are indistinguishable from a K Street mouthpiece, and an ineffective one to boot who won't bend the rules to get anything passed.
What we want:
1. Force a real talking filibuster.
2. Stop hiding behind process.
3. Pass the SAVE America Act.
YOU will become the reason that we will have our butts kicked in midterms. Not Candace Owens, not Nick Fuentes, not anyone else. You and you alone, and all because you want to make the 200 or so viewers of Punchbowl Fly Out Days happy. You're living in a K Street information bubble, addicted to the comforts and praises of lobbyists masquerading as journalists. You mistake the steak and martini dinners you get invited to as your own constituents.
You are not "moderate." The SAVE America Act has 98% support among Republicans. Name one other thing that has 98% support. You are an extreme minority who prides himself on being a calm leader, when in reality you are well in the running for the most ineffective Majority leader of all time.
Prove me wrong. Do the bare modicum of effort. Not symbolic. Actual effort. Cancel the recess. Get SAVE America Act passed.
