That is why i don't like going to other people's house Cause what do you mean bakwa baccin safe
If you grew up in a family that does lazy weekends, sleeps in, eats breakfast whenever, stays in pyjamas all day and does absolutely nothing, please don’t marry into a family that wakes up at 6AM to deep-clean the house and run errands before 8AM.

I strongly doubt this story involved an ACTUAL Surgeon who spent 6+ years in Med school, 1 year of HJ, 6+ years of grueling Residency and became a fellow and decided to risk it all for 2.5M…but that’s just my opinion sha🤷🏾‍♀️
Back in 2022, when I was an intern, a surgeon collected a sum ₦2.5 million from the children of a patient living abroad for a total hip arthroplasty. During the first physiotherapy consultation, we noticed something wasn't right, the patient couldn't even partially weight bear.

I saw a post saying something about expensive makeup products is the reason why makeup should be expensive…I remembered Kumar and Clark is 140k+ now🤭

Perhaps doctors too should start charging 500k for consultation🌚

“Nigerian doctors are wicked” In my surgery posting during this HJ, on a Saturday, I and my chiefs came to the hospital to do 4 emergency surgeries. I entered the hospital by 7:30am. We did not leave the hospital till 10:00pm.
One unit in O&G had 9 surgeries yesterday. 6 electives and 3 emergencies. One of My chiefs from that unit was also on call with me yesterday. He came out of theatre by 9:20pm and as I saw him looking defeated, I silently prayed to God for all cervical os to remain closed,

If there’s one thing to commend quacks for…it’s their boldness and audacity🤌🏾 Even a Neurosurgen wouldn’t dare go to the neck because it’s not his domain
Imagine an untrained person conducting thyroid surgery. Look at the environment Why would anyone put his life at this much risk

Plastic surgery vs Paediatric surgery vs MFU…who owns cleft lip & palate?
General surgeons versus Gynaecologist who owns Breast disease?

Medicine is quite fascinating…I’ve heard about purple urine bag syndrome and I saw it today, for the first time.

I held it as deCORticate - body’s core meaning that it is flexion while the other is extension. But which one is 2 or 3 in GCS is what I always have trouble remembering😂
idk why i even bother with which one is decerebrate or decorticate, i’ll still forget after 5 minutes

I don’t understand medical elders sometimes In your front, patient relatives said patient is not producing sputum, yet I should somehow make sure patient produces sputum tomorrow morning and make sure they take it to the lab….DFKM🙄
