The timing of Mike Locksley's firing is notable.
-By this time last year, eight FBS head coaches were already fired.
-This is the first year since 2019 (excluding 2020) where a coach wasn't fired before Oct. 1.

Blake Griffin on LeBron and the helicopter:
"The Fanatics thing, it's already paying for itself. And also, that's LeBron James, you can justify paying him whatever as an endorsement deal. And he's also *doing things* for that deal. Where guys get in trouble is you sign an endorsement deal and you don't do anything... I have no issue... but it has become a major storyline this early in the season" @FOS

Lazy, sensationalist headline here. The “DraftKings executive” is a board of trustees member at the University of North Carolina, and we spoke to him in that capacity - one of the hundreds of universities Saving College Sports has engaged with. And of course we have talked to “influential” politicians. How else would we help get the bill passed??
