Defended his LW title a RECORD 4 times against the best in the world, including TWICE against Volk in his PRIME.
Beat Arman on short notice, got a 5th-round SUB against Dustin Poirier, KO'd one of the best strikers in the world in Volk, and SUBBED one of the greatest submission artists in UFC history in Charles Oliveira.
When you add context to some of his biggest wins, it's INCREDIBLE.

Islam is truly SPECIAL. When you look at the level of competition he's beaten, how good those guys were at the time, HOW he beat them, and how well those wins have aged, it's hard not to appreciate what we're witnessing.
