A few people slid into my DMs asking if I could post xP* vs Real Points stats (okay fine, absolutely nobody asked 😂 but here we are!).
Here is the first update covering GW1-GW3 📊

Ran the numbers, in the top100K:
- 11.5% of wildcarders have the attached exact wildcard draft. Remove Hill -> 20.6% have the remaining 14. Remove Senesi -> 27.8%. Remove Gross -> 38.8%. Remove DCL -> 49.4%
- Percentage of wildcarders with 14/15 players of this draft: 38%.
13/15: 61%
12/15: 77%
11/15: 87%

LiveFPL’s new Rank page is now live!
Explore it during the games today, I’m hoping it will be smoother and faster than any LiveFPL experience you’ve had before. Hopefully! And I really appreciate your patience if you spot any bugs 🙏
Besides the smoother server experience, dark mode, and language support, there are a bunch of new additions:
1- What-If is back (like in the mobile app) so you can add/remove events and see your hypothetical rank.
2- Captains and chips breakdown for every rank tier.
3- The top 5 events that impacted your rank this GW.
4- Visuals showing where your rank sits between milestones, how many players you have left vs the field, captain points, etc.
5- A live chart of your rank over time as events move it up and down, this one is very special to me and deserves its own tweet.
6- Detailed rank impact data when you click any player, anywhere.
7- Live Games/Bonus/Defcon/Points/EO/Feed have all improved
…and more. Explore and I hope that, after giving it some time, you’ll enjoy it and forget the old version (I know every change has inertia)
🚨 LiveFPL website is going to look (and run) differently stating tomorrow! 🚨
New underlying architecture, new user interface, new features, and hopefully better server performance.
In my developer pov, this change is not just cosmetics, it's absolutely necessary so I can maintain the site further. The site has grown into a huge messy network of ideas that is/was so difficult to manage and I finally had the time to organize it in a sustainable way. Please embrace this change with me tomorrow, I promise it's a good change ❤️

New feature in website livefpl.net/rank (and soon to be released) mobile app: Live Feed & Impact
You can now see the impact of each event in a game on your rank. For example, now the Man Utd-Newcastle kickoff happened, you can see how much points and ranks that affected you.
Every DEFCON/goal/yellow card etc, you can see its impact as it happens

📈 FPL Team Ownership Trends
📊 Average number of players owned per manager (by team):
Chelsea 🔵: Sitting at the very top around 1.9–2.0 players owned per manager consistently. They’re the most backed team.
Liverpool 🔴: Started level with Chelsea but dipped after mid-August, now just below 1.8.
Arsenal 🟢: Steady climb through August, now around 1.5 – a clear upward trend.
Spurs ⚪️: Big rise since early August – now pushing up towards 1.3+ owned per manager.
Man City 💜: Started low but climbing steadily, now near 1.1–1.2.
Nottingham Forest 🌳: Steady Rise! They’ve gone from fringe levels to around 1.0 above Man Utd, Villa, and others.
Man Utd 🔴⚫️: Slowly declining, hovering just below 1.0.
Villa 🟤, Burnley 🟠, Wolves 🐺, and others: steady mid-table ownership (~0.6–0.9)
Bottom teams: Leeds, Fulham, Bournemouth – rarely above 0.3–0.4.
