A longggg never-ending gameweek 21, with us unable to do anything to our team other than wait. So while waiting, hope you can give this @fplchasing Podcast Episode a watch! Last month I recorded a chat session with Ben, a very different chat from the usual week to week Podcast I do with @tgn_fpl. It's about looking at #FPL in a different perspective, a more mental, humane side I would say.. Thanks Ben for the "philosophical mastermind" label, I would say I am just a normal FPL manager who sometimes think too much! He also said, "If you're not a better FPL manager after this conversation I'll eat my hat!" Hmm.. I don't know about that, I always feel awkward rewatching myself speaking, so you tell me what you think after watching! Hope Ben doesn't have to eat a lot of hats! 🎩🥶 Anyways, I had lots of fun sharing my experience and hope you guys have fun watching it too! Appreciate any like, share, and support given. Also please follow the YouTube channel! I find it a very interesting and unique Pod, as every week he chats with different content creators about hidden aspects of FPL. #FPL #FPLCommunity

A cross court topspin winner looks incredible. But force it while unsure and hesitation creeps in, and hesitation kills shot quality. Same with a rushed hit or an early transfer. If you’re hesitating, wait a day. Wait a gameweek.

The patient strike: observe, play safe when uncertain, wait for the right ball, then strike with full commitment. Feet set, position intact. That’s when the attack actually lands.

Today, I trained with my coach on my weekly 🏓 session. He was correcting on my long time bad habit of rushing shots and suddenly it struck me, hey this actually applies to #FPL too! So i wrote an article and ask Notebook LM generate some images, thread below. 👇 #FPLCommunity

Unsure of the spin? Play it safe to the middle, keep the rally alive, wait for a better ball. Unsure about a transfer? Roll it instead. Stay in position rather than force a shot you’re not ready for.

I don’t usually WC early despite many choose to do it GW3 or 4 to try gaining an edge. I prefer to wait and sew who’s nailed, who’s the talisman, which defence is actually weak. Let the data build. The sweet spot comes later.

My coach’s reminder: speed and rushing aren’t the same. Rush the shot, opponent returns it, you swing harder, you overcommit, you can’t recover in time. Unforced error. Free point. Same loop happens in FPL when you rush a decision.

Good time to post my GW1 team, after the Arsenal match is over 🤣 Won’t be on twitter a lot this season as I am doing my further studies part time while working full time.. All the best to all FPL managers out there! #FPL #FPLCommunity

10 Seasons of FPL, The Review: The first 5 seasons? We can skip those. I was more casual than a casual. Sometimes I actively played 5GW, sometimes 10, then just left the team to rot, unmanaged and forgotten. Sound familiar? Bad start, lose interest, miss deadlines, mentally check out. Just like a lot of managers do. The ranks reflected that. Then 2021/22 came and something shifted. Started playing like I actually meant it. First thing I fixed was simple.. always set a bus team after each GW, never miss another deadline. Second thing was a rule I made for myself: no matter how bad the early season goes, I don't quit. I play to GW38. Every time. Another big thing that killed my early seasons was impulse playing. Rage transfers. Unnecessary hits. Buying differentials just for the sake of being different. All of that got ironed out. Replaced with actual planning, not just for the current GW, but thinking mid and long term. Looking at form & fixtures, not just chasing the latest shiny toy. Waiting for press conferences before pulling the trigger, choosing information over price gain. That shift alone is what brought the rank into a consistent 200K–350K range. The problem now? It's been stuck there for 5 seasons. No top 100K finish, let alone top 10K. I'm still too cautious. Too afraid to back myself at the right moment. To go with a differential captain when the gut says so. To move early on a player I believe in before everyone else catches on. To take a calculated risk when it actually makes sense to. That's probably something I wanna try to change next season. Hopefully someday I can be better than just consistently average. #FPL #FPLCommunity

Is it OK to sell Haaland and leave a large chunk of money in the bank? Like 7 or 8 million? Yes, it's FINE. Of course you can take a hit and get Salah. But you can also choose NOT to do that. It's not a crime to end the season rich. #FPL #FPLCommunity

GW36. One chip left, TC. Played it on Haaland. Not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but some decisions just make themselves. The real headache is how to use the 2 FT and the bench puzzle. First move was obvious to me, Gabriel in. Wanted to do it last GW but couldn't pull it off without taking a hit. He will take Senesi's place. Didn't love having double Bou at the back heading into the final stretch, and Senesi freed up the more cash than Hill. Thanks for 3 great GWs but unfortunately MGW had to go. I don't think he starts this one after that horror injury. After the Gabriel move, I had just enough to swap MGW for a cheaper mid. Looked at Harry Wilson, Gross, and KDH. And the decision is...I will own KDH for the first time ever in FPL + carrying 0.8m ITB into next GW. Palmer stays. He's been awful. The team have been awful. But am I crazy enough to bench a 10.3m player? As you can see from the photo, I actually did! Hill starts over Palmer, which is crazy, but you are reading from a crazy manager. Almost went DCL over Thiago, with Thiago facing City away. But Spurs have a bit of momentum right now, and if I had to pick between one of them to find the net, I'm backing Thiago. And that's a wrap on the consecutive chips crunching🍟🍟🍟🍟. WC33 >> FH34 >> BB35 >>TC36. Whatever happens from here, it's been a fun season! #FPL #FPLCommunity
