JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon mocks The Economist during a tense exchange after being told he’s sounding like Trump: “I’m not Trumpian. I’m factual.” 🇺🇸
Interviewer: “You’re sounding Trumpy.”
Jamie Dimon: “I’m not Trumpian. I’m factual. I don’t agree with this binary shit that goes on all the time.
I think The Economist is the absolute best, most admirable thing in the world, and you should continue that.”
Dimon delivers the last line with apparent sarcasm, poking fun at the publication while pushing back against the idea that agreeing with Trump on certain issues makes him a Trump supporter.

APOLLO: AI HAS DELIVERED “ZERO PAYOFF” OUTSIDE BIG TECH
Apollo Chief Economist Torsten Slok warns that massive AI spending has yet to deliver measurable productivity gains across corporate America.
Revenue per worker and profit margins are rising for the Magnificent Seven but remain flat for the S&P 493.
Meanwhile, Gartner estimates $3.5 trillion in AI infrastructure spending could face impairment risk by 2030.

Norway’s sovereign wealth fund — the largest in the world — said Thursday that its investment portfolio delivered a loss of $30 billion in the third quarter, as rising interest rates dented returns on its bond holdings.
Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), which manages the $2.3 trillion fund, said the accounting return for the period was a loss of 278 billion kroner ($29.7 billion). Around 70% of NBIM’s fixed income portfolio is allocated to government bonds, with the remainder invested in corporate debt.

And I think the reason for that is this: maybe it's the European way to overthink everything.
Germany has so much talent. Just get to work."
