In 8 days I turn 60. Aging is an incredible privilege, not everybody gets to get older. I’m grateful I get to experience it feeling healthy and strong. #MyYearOf60 #Turning60 #blessed #Grateful

Your career cannot be built on what you almost did. For e.g., almost submitted a Masters or PhD thesis, almost applied for an opportunity, almost launched an initiative or business, almost published a paper or book, etc. At some point, you must FINISH. Potential becomes valuable when it becomes evidence. Be known as someone who gets things done! Someone who finishes tasks. #CareerWednesdays #CareerAdvice #Execution #SelfLeadership

This morning I walked from Hyde Park to Melrose simply because I can and it was good. The body is the first place we practise discipline because everything else depends on it. #Walking #BodyCare #Wellbeing #Movement #ChooseMovement #OrdinaryDiscipline

An OOTD to end the week 🤣🤣🤣

Don’t look for one magical mentor, rather build what I call a ‘career council’, consisting of a mentor who guides, an expert who sharpens you, peers who challenge you & a sponsor who says your name in rooms you haven’t entered. You dont have to meet with them as a group, you meet them individually and benefit from them all. And then become that person for someone else. #CareerWednesdays

It was good to meet Kgosana Koketso Rakhudu of Tsitsing today. He shared the Royal Bafokeng Nation’s Plan 2035 placing education at the heart of the vision for self-sufficiency, generational wealth & institutional excellence. This is traditional leadership rooted in service, social justice & ethical purpose. Precisely what our communities need. #TraditionalLeadership #Plan2035 #Education

Make sure you buy your ticket to attend the #MakeEducationFashionable Convocation on 5 December at Divine Sunset in Midrand. It will be a great pleasure to see you there. 👉🏽 quicket.co.za/events/399616-…

I arrived dressed as I intended, then the socks by @rkt_socks decided the day would be a little more alive than planned and then the @udarkieofficial jersey joined in #Ibuylocal #Isupportlocalentrepreneurs #MadeHereLovedHere

Burnt toast has saved more people’s mornings than perfect timing ever will. Maybe it made you miss the bus/train, maybe to sit in traffic, perhaps you well planned unravels and later you realise the delay was there to protect you. Not every disappointment in your life is meant to hurt you, some are redirections and others are a gift you desperately needed. #MondayMotivation
