Nodding as she accepted the beloved tray back, she slipped it back within her bag so she could remember later which kind she was seeking.
Afterwards, she raised her hands again for him to have a clear view as she began to wordlessly sign again—
‘I’ll follow you’
Guard dropping for a moment at the offer, she was quick to shake her head to decline— instead, she told him to wait a moment by raising a single timid finger. Had she known who he actually was publicly, she’d likely die in embarrassment. But here in this moment, he just seemed ++
If having a stranger approach was enough to make her this fearsome, the fact that it was a human that neared was a big case of double it and pass it to the next person before her heart popped out of her chest—
Pokemon are hard enough to navigate, but dealing with badge ++
Listening with full attention— her eyes shifted at the mentioning of hands… That could maybe work in her favour.
With clear hesitation and shaking within her own hands, she raised her right fingers to her forehead and quickly away— clearly signing ‘I know.’
One sideways sliding maneuver backwards— she kept her eyes on him, calculating her next move carefully as she willed the brick to swallow her whole
She just wanted paints, not to risk having to actually do the unthinkable and speak to someone!
The city was always so troublesome
With the sound of another far more close than she had anticipated, there was a serious of clashing and crashing as she scrambled to remain unseen—
Though the unfamiliar face would soon learn that this fairy was no world record setter at being the best hider; half her body ++
In the zone, the fairy stood chanting with chattering knees. Eyes fully locked to the ground so she had not noticed the other, but oh when the other spoke— she sure did hear it!
“!”
Looking over slowly, she froze horrified, mouth zipping shut at the sight of a stranger.
Brick to back, the fairy was flushed to the alleyway wall with her hands to her ears—
“don’t be seen.
don’t you dare make a peep.
In, and right back out.”
The motivation for this trip to town?
She really really needed new paint, but this?
WAY too much for a timid type.
