Fairground is the best platform for AI creators right now, and it's not close.
Big news: CapCut is now an official Global Sponsor of Fairground AI TV 🎉 Through the end of 2026, CapCut is backing two new initiatives that put more money and more screen time directly in the hands of AI filmmakers. Here’s what’s coming: FAIRGROUND’S ANIMATION IMAGINATION, PRESENTED BY CAPCUT A $15,000 prize pool for 100% original animated films inspired by the cartoons and anime you grew up on. Standout films will also air on Fairground AI TV, streaming 24/7 on Roku, LG, Amazon Prime Video, Xumo Play, and more. INTRODUCING: THE BEST OF CAPCUT A new primetime series for films made with CapCut, airing in some of our most-watched slots each week. Filmmakers featured in the series earn 50% of the ad revenue their films generate. If CapCut is already part of your workflow, this is a direct path to getting paid for your work and seen by a much bigger audience. WHY THIS MATTERS Partners like CapCut let us put more back into this community: prize money, programming, and new ways for creators to get discovered. We’re grateful to have CapCut in our corner and can’t wait to see what you make. Submissions open for Animation Imagination next week, are you ready? #AIFilms #AICinema #AIFilmmaking

This is a little different - a chance to work with @capcutapp and our collective groups of #creators on a filmmaking competition - not just your normal, average, everyday, common-in-the-garden variety competition... but one where the winners and many of the entrants have a chance to BE ON TV, and earn revenues from their show - even if you don't win the top prizes. Also - we'll be showcasing this and other great work from Capcut users in the Best of Capcut show... also allowing the creators featured to earn real revenue. Get in there.

I spoke with someone from @fairground_tv at CapCut World over the weekend. They are building something impressive.
If a viewer makes it past the first 60 seconds of your film, they’ll watch 21 minutes of AI cinema on Fairground AI TV. Last month, we promised a look at what we’re learning, including a heat map of our top-performing programming windows. See our October update below and if you have questions, please comment. Submissions: the backlog is almost cleared. Submission volume has grown fast since launch, and we know many of you have been waiting longer than any of us wanted. Over the past month, the team reviewed 5,000+ films, and we’re on track to be fully caught up on the backlog by the end of November. Once we’re there, a 1-2 week review period becomes the new normal and to support that, we’re rolling out improvements to the Fairground Portal, including submission tracking. Whether it's now or in 2027, every film still gets the time and consideration it deserves, because we know you put time, money and real work into it. Retention is king. This is the number that surprised us most. Viewers who stay past the first 60 seconds go on to watch 21 minutes on average. That tells us two things. First, the audience is real, and once they’re in, they stay. Second, every second of your film needs to do a lot of work. By hooking viewers, they will not only finish your content, but watch the work of other AI filmmakers. The heat map: late nights and weekends. Viewership and monetization peak between 10PM and midnight EST with weekends outperform weekdays. Because Fairground runs dynamic scheduling, those windows are earned. Films that hold viewers move toward the best slots. Films that don’t make way for something new. What’s next? In early November, we’re issuing our initial payments covering August performance. We want our launch partners to hear the details first, including the trends we're seeing, so we’ll share more about payments publicly later in November. Until then, we’ll be highlighting our top-performing shows, sharing creator spotlights, and making a few big announcements. For now: what questions do you have about submissions, retention or scheduling? #AI #AIVideo #AIFilmmaking #AICinema

I’ll be taking the stage at @TEDAIVienna to share my rundown of the state of AI filmmaking over the past 365 days, exploring just how far we’ve come and how much the industry has evolved. Then, shortly afterwards, we’ll be getting into the Halloween spirit with a special screening of four horror films created by members of the TEDAI community! 🎃🎬
