I'm SICK of Tina Peters. I live in the county that arrested & prosecuted her. She kicked a cop in the coffee shop that I visit on Fridays. She was prosecuted by a GOP official & 3 GOP county commissioners spoke out against her. I'm still mad at Polis for commuting her sentence.
Colorado Attorney General Philip Weiser says Tina Peters views herself as a political celebrity and is “cashing in” on her case by calling herself a political prisoner, visiting the White House and saying she'll continue to fight what she calls “crooked elections.”
“This is a scary part of the moment we're living in,” says Weiser.
Peters served nearly two years behind bars for crimes related to breaching voting system security. She maintains she was trying to show flaws in the system.
