We can pump out half a million SuperBowl tee shirts for the losing team but we can’t make masks for motherfucking healthcare workers risking their lives everyday?
If Biden were actually doing something himself, this would be an even better slam.

Congratulations to the community of SRVUSD for taking matters into their own hands. Since management has refused to hear SRVEA, perhaps they will hear the community. SRVEA members should not sign this unless they are residents of SRVUSD.

1/ @SRVUSD_Supt @RMSHurd @ken_mintz and the rest of SRVUSD management just tabled a discussion of endorsing @Schools1stCA , a ballot initiative to increase funding #forourstudents citing a desire for the community to be able to make an "informed" decision...
Here we go again. In response to managements denial of student supports, there will be a rally at the BOE Meeting, tomorrow night. All are welcome to show up and make your presence known #forourstudents. #redfored #srveastrong4kids

Management, 2019: we need funding
SRVEA: here's Schools & Communities First which will bring in funding
Management: *writes letter to the community as if they've never heard of it*
Our students deserve better from management. We should ALL work for funding #forourstudents

Management, 2016: we need funding
SRVEA: here's prop 55 which will bring in funding
Management:
SRVEA: *campaigns for prop 55 without management's endorsement*
CA: *passes prop 55*

The letter to the community didn't even mention Schools & Communities First at all. If your own educators and half the state are already doing the work you say you want to do, then why not amplify their efforts and join in? Hard to see it as anything but empty rhetoric otherwise
Curious what empty promises look like? While @SRVEA has been gathering signatures to get @Schools1stCA on the ballot, management has done nothing but ignore the clear oath to more funding #forourstudents.
