Commission WIP

That's all folks! The story evolved throughout the whole planning process, and the ending literally changed on the day it was published, but I'm more than happy with how it turned out. At first, they were just short monster encounter stories. Then I turned them into notes. Then I realized that if they're notes, it would be better if the events took place in one specific location. And if they're notes from one person, why not show their face at the end? Originally, the main character was an escaped convict. She wasn't a kind or good person. When faced with the unknown, she chose to detach herself to survive, but new acquaintances gradually made her thaw. In the end, she was just supposed to leave town, but when the new ending came to me, the old one felt like complete trash. Too simple, too ordinary. So, here we are. Thanks so much to everyone for the support. For the likes and reposts. I really appreciate it. I hope this isn't my last attempt at a collection in this format, and not just for Halloween.
