A lot of people are going to be finger pointing, assigning blame, and content farming after the disastrous results of the elections. For those who want the Republican Party to be something different or implement some particular strategies, across the nation County Parties will be holding Conventions next year. County Parties are organized by Precincts, that correspond to the same Precincts you vote in. Precincts have chairs and committees and across North Carolina and many other states Precincts are often poorly organized and whoever shows up can do the job if they ask for. At the County Convention Republicans will elect the County Chair and the executive committee and in some instance vote one ore more resolutions. Participation at this level will qualify you to be a delegate to the State Convention, where the process is repeated. The key to changing some aspect of the Republican Party isn’t some bit of alchemy or incantations from Roberts’s Rules of Order - it’s showing up and be willing to organize to do meaningful work. If you want something different show up with some friends and do it. My observation this election was there a low level of volunteerism, and ancillary movements. The tea party energized Republicans and then waned, MAGA likewise seems exhausted of motive force. It is perhaps under appreciated by the uninitiated how reliant on volunteers local politics is. To a large extent County Parties are autonomous entities and they are substantially responsible for generating their own resources.
