Collaborative learning in action! Our staff is putting in the work at #ComalU26 these last 2 days, focusing on elevating our instructional strategies by diving deep into data practices, mastering integrated reading and writing techniques, and engaging in intentional planning.

This week, our 3rd grade GT students were given the challenge to make an impossible cube using Keva planks. Not only did these Bulldogs succeed in building the impossible cube, but they also worked together to make a tower out of their individual cubes!
While our students started their weekends early, our teachers spent FriYAY together diving deep into data and instructional pivots as we gear up for a great spring!
From high impact writing to math data digging and team celebrations, today was a great day to be a Bulldog 📝🌟🔢
This morning, our campus was surprised by the most special @cisdnews hype team who announced our 1ST GRADE TEAM had the highest growth among ALL of Comal ISD on their middle-of-the-year mClass Reading assessments! We are beyond proud — Way to go, 1st Grade Bulldogs!! 🌟

Today we started our journey into story elements using plot mountain. We took notes, and then we practiced our skills using Pixar short films. Then students independently worked in Google classroom to draw and drop the correct elements! #todayinComal @FariasSpitzer
