Anyone have some high quality flax that they have harvested already? Thinking western Sask and Alberta are most likely harvesting that good stuff.

Do farmers have any legal recourse against the rail companies for a lack of service given they are a duopoly? There is no reason they should not have sorted out their labour issues earlier.

Do flea beetles have any natural predators? If so, how do I encourage more of those predators. I really dislike spraying insecticide.

Hitting the wheat with herbicide. Lots of large wet areas in the field after a 2.5 inch rain/snow.

About to seed a new variety of HRS wheat called AAC Westking. It won’t be commercially available until 2026. The seed I am planting came all the way from New Zealand!

Hypothetical question for all my grain/seed storage peeps. Will a sample stored in a sealed pail degrade at the same rate as a lot of seed in a grain bin with aeration?

Onto the second field of seed wheat. Ground is perfect condition and we should be able to chase the moisture if need be.

That’s my mates t shirt he’s not wearing anymore. Reminder to all about revolving shafts. Only 25 mm of a 19 mm shaft exposed there and whammo. Watch out.
