FarmRx @ NuWay-K&H Cooperative

This is another step in our journey at @nuwaykandhcoop to utilize #sustainable farming practices that make sense. @nytimes @latimes readers need to hear about the good things happening in Agriculture and how our growers and companies are advancing their sustainable practices.

Moving offices around and dug this up for the museum. For those in the room not aware of what this is It’s a 3.5” floppy disc. It was our release of acres which we paid a $.50/acre royalty to AgChem for the ability to use the new VRT method they patented Circa 1996 Soil Teq Inc.

We are in Welcome, MN showing off the See and Spray technology from @GreeneyeAg that we will have available to our growers for the 2023 spring season. Come and ask questions and enjoy some lunch. We will be here until 1:30 today.

Stop 4 at the @TruterraLLC field day and Mitchell Hora @Continuum_Ag talking about interseeding cover crops. 60 inch rows?!? Plant two rows at 30 and skip one. Still end up at 34k seeds per acre. Relay crops? What’s going to work for us?

Talking about soil health and the Haney Test. What’s your thought on taking samples on fields that have no intention of using regenerative practices?

In Vincent Iowa today at @TruterraLLC AnswerPlot by @WinFieldUnited with @nuwaykandhcoop and growers learning more about regenerative ag practices. Stop 1 Northern Star Seed cover crop species discussion.

Nice shots Hannah @FarmrxAmmann and it was a good day. Thanks to @rantizosprays Ben Etsinger for performing the spray demo for our @nuwaykandhcoop growers and employees in the morning and displaying the T-30 at the From the Ground Up event that evening.

Only his third day at @nuwaykandhcoop and our @WinFieldUnited Associate Levi Kermes already gets to do one of the most rewarding jobs of collecting @VerisTech iScan data. We use this data for @AdaptNitrogen model and VR Planting layers.

Who is your favorite ag weather tweeter? I go to @kannbwx and @snodgrss along with local @NWS reporters. Who else you have? If you want to know what's going on in Trimont, MN here is a link to our @davisinst station weatherlink.com/embeddablePa…
