"Nothing has changed." There are two very distinct ways of applying those three words to where Nebraska sits after seven games: one good, one bad. Both are completely accurate. More on where NU is at, and where they go from here: si.com/college/nebraska/foot…

"The truth is that nothing has changed for Nebraska." I intentionally left that open to your interpretation. Some will say NU is the same team they've been since 2015 (or earlier). Others will note that a team widely predicted to go 7-5 is - shockingly - on track to go 7-5.

Congratulations everyone on worrying about the least important thing on the planet to the point where the coach has to say something objectively goofy.
Nebraska coach Matt Rhule, still reflecting on the Oregon loss: "I let the guys dance (before) the fourth quarter. I will never do that again."

TFTR: Nebraska is 5-2. At the beginning of the season, most fans were hopeful for 5-2. Moving the goalposts is tricky business.

17-14 is NOT a Huskerigami. It has happened 9 times before. Last time was a 2011 win at Penn State.

Throughout the season, I've been checking SeatGeek the day before home games, looking for a pair of tickets in three places: > Cheapest get-in price > My approx location (NW corner, row 30) > West stadium, 50 yd line The numbers have blown me away. They're in this piece ⬇️
You have questions about the Memorial Stadium reseat & the new pricing structure. I have answers. > The path to staying in your seats. > Why are prices dropping? > Should you worry about being shut out of the stadium? This and more! si.com/college/nebraska/foot…

It is possible to be frustrated with how the Indiana game ended, optimistic about what Rhule is building, AND not award any moral victory participation trophies. Read more: si.com/college/nebraska/foot…

Been told that there's an outside chance of FOX airing an 11pm ET game on 10/17. It would depend on whether Nebraska-Oregon or Wisconsin-UCLA is theirs. I don't know what they would do with FS1 during that open time. Horse racing?
