Fern x Flow 🌿

The wild blueberry plants you’re foraging are probably older than your grandparents. The visible stems only live a few decades, but the underground rhizome systems can be over 1,000 years old. Maine’s wild blueberry barrens are among the oldest living organisms in North America. They're ancient clonal colonies that have slowly spread for centuries. Next time you eat wild blueberries, you’re tasting something with serious generational staying power.
