The Ferrets have two games this weekend with the 1s hosting Strikers at home today and the 2s playing Brandesburton tomorrow away at Beeford 🏏

Wins for both teams this weekend 😍 A brilliant performance with the ball limited Beverley to 107 on Saturday. After 3 quick wickets early doors, Bill and Ben (insert joke) took us over the line with some measured batting.

Here’s a look at your Saturday and Sunday Ferrets for this weekends games 👀 Go well teams 🏏

The First XI run up the hill this week in the battle for Swanland Hill with the Second XI welcoming Sutton to Grange Lane on Sunday 🏏 Go well squads 💪🏼

The First XI overcame Sutton on Saturday. A couple of great knocks from Jack and Freddie helped us reach 193 after a mini collapse. The bowlers then came out all guns blazing keeping Sutton to 120 💪🏼 Unfortunately the twos was abandoned due to weather 🌧️

A weekend of home games at Grange Lane 🤌🏼 The First XI host Sutton on Saturday and the Second XI welcome Patrington to Grange Lane on Sunday 🏏 Both games are a 1300 start with the bar open on both days 🍻

He’s one of our own…… Meet Harry, a product of our ever fruitful junior setup and now a piece of the furniture in our bowling attack with his lighting pace and skill to place it on blue every time 🏏

The First XI make it back to back W’s with a brilliant performance against Newport on Saturday 🏏 Not a bad day at the office for Mr Hodson 😎

Just the one game this weekend with the First XI making the trip to Newport CC. Go well lads 🏏

The First XI win at home against Brandesburton thanks to a 123 partnership between the Astill brothers and a lovely Michelle from Mr Hodson 🤌🏼 Our Seconds were just edged out by Kirk Ella in what ended up being a tight ending with the hosts chasing our 154 in 35 overs 🏏

The First XI came out on top against Beverley thanks to club record opening stand of 172 between Scott Watkin and John Wyndham 🤩 The Second XI fell just short away to Walkington with the hosts chasing us down in the penultimate over. What a weekend of cricket 😍

NFCC at teas. A good first half for the lads, finishing on 261-3. Top innings from Scotty (111*) and John (74) getting us off to a great start with a 172 partnership. Only half a job done though and a long way to go, but time to enjoy teas made by Ben (mainly his family).

This is how the teams look this weekend 🏏 The First XI host Beverley Town 3s today and the Second XI travel to Walkington tomorrow. Should see a fair bit of sun today, club bar open from 1pm 🍻

Say hi To Rich (Trousers) 👋🏼 He’s only been with us a couple of years but his antics are legendary and his Boycott style batting is something everyone looks forward to seeing 😍 Keep up the good work Rich 🏏

he 2nd XI get their first win as a team 👏🏻🤩 The First XI came up short against Welton this weekend however the Second XI got their first win as a team beating Gilberdyke at home on Sunday thanks to some Leather magic 🏏

This weekends fixtures 🏏😍 Saturday sees the 1s jog down the A63 to Welton, Sunday the 2s are at home to Gilberdyke and Tuesday night we host Hessle in the next round of the T20 cup 🏆

Freddie is the middle child of the Wyndham dynasty 🇦🇺 From Junior to first team opening bowler, you’ll regularly find him bamboozling the oppositions opening batsmen with his fierce swing bowling. A hero on and off the pitch, many would say 👏🏻
