What a day!!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to Fields Good, and to every speaker, demonstrator, exhibitor, volunteer and sponsor who gave their time, brought their energy and shared so much.
And a special thank you to The Sheddings for letting us take over their beautiful farm for the day!
So many good conversations, ideas shared and connections made. We hope you all went home with something new to think about, try or take back to your own farm.
Thank you for being part of Fields Good 2026.
It really is all of you that makes this festival come to life

One of our key areas at Fields Good this year was the Trees on Farms Tent, sponsored by @SoilAssociation and Woodland Trust Northern Ireland, who also backed our Trees for Tomorrow's Farm panel with Ben Raskin, Prof. Jim McAdam, Jonny Blair, Dr. Réamaí Mathers, and Dr. Lindsay Whistance.
If you're a farmer thinking about trees, the tools and funding are there. Just get in touch with Woodland Trust NI or Soil Association to find out what will suit your land.

Wee day out at @FieldsGood_ni sunshine and craic abounding 😎
Fields Good is TOMORROW!
Visit our website to see the full programme and to schedule your day.
🎟️ Last-Minute Tickets
Tickets are available for purchase online at the gate with cash only. Please note that we cannot process card transactions at the gate.
📍 Venue Location
The event is held at The Sheddings, 64 Munie Road, Glenarm. This is part of the Glenarm Estate but is located along the glen, not in the main grounds. Please be aware that the road into the venue is a single-track road. Drive slowly and with caution, as animals will be grazing in the surrounding fields and other traffic will be using the road as an exit.
🏕️ Can I camp?
Camping is only available for Saturday night and must be booked when you get your ticket. For other accommodation options in the area, please check our website for recommendations.
🍔 Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink. We will also have local food vendors on-site, and The Sheddings will have a bar open from lunchtime until 11 pm.
🐶 Can I bring my dog?
No, unfortunately, dogs are not permitted. This is a working farm with sheep and cattle in the surrounding fields.
📶 Is there Wi-Fi on-site?
4G is available but can be very limited at times due to our location in the glen. This is a great opportunity to unplug and enjoy the day!
🚗 What are the parking arrangements?
Parking is free on-site. You will be directed to the car park upon arrival.
🎒 What to Pack
We recommend bringing wellies or waterproof shoes as you'll be walking on grass for a lot of the day. A waterproof coat is also a good idea in case the weather changes. If you plan on staying into the evening, remember to bring some extra warm layers!

Great to have @KLaitenberger join us for this year's Fields Good speaker line up. Klaus will also run an additional short Q&A session in the Grower Tent.
Klaus Laitenberger's session is one not to miss. A highly respected organic grower, educator and author, Klaus has spent decades refining practical methods for producing healthy, productive vegetable crops without relying on synthetic fertilisers or pesticides.
In this talk, he'll share the principles behind successful organic vegetable production, from building fertile soils and managing weeds naturally to growing high-quality crops that people genuinely want to buy. Whether you're planning a market garden, diversifying your farm business or simply curious about how healthy soils produce healthy food, you'll leave with practical knowledge, fresh ideas and plenty of inspiration.

Michael Blanche of @ thepasturepod joins the Fields Good line-up!!!
Michael is a first-generation farmer running 750 sheep and 130 Angus cows on a tenanted farm in Perthshire, Scotland. He proudly doesn't own a tractor — though that's a bit of a cheat, since the cows are half-owned by someone who does.
A former land agent and agriculture consultant with SAC, Michael completed a Nuffield Scholarship in 2010 studying 'The Farming Ladder'.
These days he's the producer and host of the hugely popular podcast The Pasture Pod, diving deep into low-input, grass-based livestock systems (plus his documentary series It's About Time, exploring how farmers actually spend their time). He also co-hosts the… far less popular Cows and Effect with Paul Allison, where they attempt — weakly — to mesh science and farming, covering everything from plant diversity in swards to arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, and yes, whether you can freeze a certain "material" into a usable knife. 🔪😅

Simon will be back this year with his popular demo tent. But we've also asked him to lead a talk all about microbes and compost too. Learn how soil biology contributes to production and how to make nutrient rich slurry, manure and compost.
