Here's a cold shower opinion that I agree with. And I used to be a pro myself. Nowadays, the high salary expectations blows my mind, considering most players only play CS, and aren't very marketable, influential or sellable, in terms of partnership value or reach and engagements. Of course, the biggest players in the business will bring a value, but these expectations go far down the chain.
Players and agents. Realize that the currency in esports is reach and engagement. Dare to have an identity and build a brand.
If investing in your brand as a player has no return of investment, they would be better of spending your salary on pure marketing and content creation ideas, no? That would take an organization a long way as well.
If, as a player, you dont help or bring in more money than you are getting paid, why is it you think you should be getting paid? Players need to understand that playing on a sports or #esports means there is to be a value for value framework. Orgs arent going to just give you money because LFO....

Réveillez-vous, La Coupe, c'est la seule LAN en France où le carré final est joué sur scène, avec des milliers de viewers sur Twitch, qui est sur HLTV, et surtout, où tu peux affronter les stars du jeu : apEX, ZywOo, JACKZ, RPK, shox, SmithZz, AMANEK, STYKO, NaToSaphiX…
Bref, si vous êtes un amoureux de CS, c'est LA LAN à faire en France. Ça serait dommage que tout ça tombe à l'eau.
