If you trade gamma levels, these 12 terms are super important:
Call Wall — heaviest call strike, dealer selling caps rallies
Put Wall — heaviest put strike, dealer buying cushions dips
Pin Magnet — hedging-neutral strike, pulls price near expiry
Gamma Flip — line where dealers stop dampening, start amplifying
GEX Cluster — stacked strikes, thick zone of hedging flow
Positive Gamma — dealers fade moves, ranges hold, vol compressed
Negative Gamma — dealers chase moves, trends run, vol expands
Max Pain — strike where most premium expires worthless
Vanna — delta shifts with IV, fires on vol crush
Charm — delta decays with time, forces hedging into expiry
OPEX — expiry unwind, levels lose their grip
0DTE — huge gamma, gone by the close

Prep for DAX (that's Eurex, you peasants)...
"Overnight developments centered on the ECB's decision to hold key interest rates unchanged at 2.5%, accompanied by President Christine Lagarde's announcement of an early departure and signals of rising inflation risks from surging energy prices. Policymakers flagged a potential December rate hike followed by a pause, with downside risks to growth and upside risks to inflation creating a mixed policy backdrop for European equities. German economic data releases earlier today showed weakness, including preliminary GDP contraction in France and mixed import price figures in Germany, reinforcing concerns about the eurozone's largest economy. Geopolitical tensions remained elevated with ongoing Iran-related conflict developments, including statements from U.S. officials on war costs and potential shifts in Russian diesel exports, adding risk-off pressure across asset classes. DAX futures reflected these cross-currents with the prior session closing higher amid broader European equity weakness noted in pre-open commentary. Correlated markets showed U.S. futures climbing ahead of Fed-related updates while gold faced pressure from mixed Iran peace hopes and renewed war risks. Overall sentiment leans cautious heading into today's German data-heavy calendar and any further ECB commentary, with export-sensitive DAX components particularly exposed to any escalation in trade or energy themes."

Pre Market Prep 29th October - app.journalytix.me/freePrep/…
A look at 10 year note...
"The session opens with light overnight positioning into a heavy US data day. First up at 07:30 are the US Core PCE, GDP advance, jobless claims, and related inflation and spending prints, these are the primary drivers for 10Y Note today as they directly feed rate expectations and growth signals. ECB rate decision and press conference follow at 08:15 and 08:45, with any shift in European policy tone capable of transmitting to global yields. Later releases include natural gas stocks at 09:30 and Treasury auctions at 10:30 and 12:00. Overnight geopolitical headlines around Iran remain a background risk that could trigger safe-haven flows if tensions escalate. On levels, price from the prior session at 105'310 sits above the gamma flip at 105'250 in a short-gamma regime, so dealer hedging is expected to dampen moves unless price breaks lower through the flip. Call wall resistance clusters near 106'080 while put wall support sits near 104'000."
The prep tells us something valuable - we are lacking a driver right now. For those on live - updates will come after the releases as the news comes.

A strong trading plan gives you options when the market doesn’t move exactly as expected.
In this breakdown, Richard analyses an S&P 500 island reversal setup and outlines three possible approaches: waiting for a pullback to enter at a better price, selling a break of the overnight low, or entering directly at the open. Each option offers a different entry point and risk profile.

Free Prep for 28th Oct - Euro Bund,
"Overnight price action for Euro Bund futures showed limited movement following the prior session close at 122.05. News flow centered on German 10-year Bund yields approaching multi-year highs amid ongoing bets for ECB rate hikes, with several reports highlighting yields near 15-year peaks and Iran-related geopolitical tensions adding to inflation concerns that could support higher yields."
Watch the FOMC today - as US Interest rates will impace European ones.
Also - no GEX on this one as nothing expires today.

When price tests the same area repeatedly, traders need to assess whether the market is building acceptance or preparing for another rejection.
In this S&P 500 cash open breakdown, Mike examines repeated tests of a key value area, emerging buying imbalances and positive delta to assess the potential for an upside move. He also explains how the cash open can introduce additional volatility, creating opportunities around significant price levels and resting liquidity.
