During the second day of @ForcesForum, Ambassador of Finland to the Czech Republic, Jouni Laaksonen, visited the Patria and @stv_group stand. 🇨🇿
Patria's Vice President of Marketing, Thomas Gylling, and Promotion Manager, Roope Tähkä, greeted the Ambassador and showcased Patria's AMV Part Task Trainer, while also presenting Patria's offering across its three business areas. Thank you Mr Laaksonen for visiting us.🤝
Tomorrow, 23 October, we will hold an industry event together with the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (AOBP) adjacent to the Future Forces Forum. On International Day of the Girl, we reaffirm every girl’s right to education, safety and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Amid conflicts and crises, Finland remains steadfast in its commitment to the rights of women and girls, gender equality and equal participation.
Equality, individual freedom and human rights are non-negotiable. Every girl has the right to be seen and heard, to dream and to shape her own future according to her own aspirations.
Ve Finsku připadá na 10. října Den finské literatury, který slavíme u příležitosti narození národního spisovatele a zakladatele moderní finské literatury Aleksise Kiviho. 📚🇫🇮

I addressed the UN Security Council today on behalf of the Nordic countries.
Our message and our goal are clear: we seek to strengthen and expand support for Ukraine to help secure a just and lasting peace.

Ukraine is preparing for the coming winter and needs all the support we can give. Today, Finland decided on its 34th defence materiel package for Ukraine, worth €290 million. The package includes equipment urgently requested by Ukraine @ZelenskyyUA.
Ukraine is in the fifth year of its defensive struggle. We support Ukraine because it is morally right to do so, and because this is about the security of all of Europe — and therefore about the security of Finland as well.

The defence partnership between Finland and France is deepening.
Our cooperation took a significant step forward this summer when France announced its contribution of troops to NATO’s Forward Land Forces in Finland. Today, we took a new step forward as Finland joined the French forward deterrence initiative.
The initiative is first and foremost about strengthening European security. It reinforces Europe’s responsibility for its own defence and helps prevent escalation.
The French initiative does not replace or overlap with NATO’s nuclear deterrence. Finland’s foremost priority is to act as part of NATO and the European Union.
Finland does not intend to station nuclear weapons on its territory in peacetime.
🇫🇮❤️🇳🇴 @NorAmbCZ
Finsko blahopřeje Ukrajině a ukrajinskému lidu k 35. výročí vyhlášení nezávislosti.
